As of 2008, UCF is the 6th largest university in the United States

So, imagine my surprise when I rode all around campus on 9/11/08, and do you know what I saw?

Besides the usual people walking to and from classes, extracurricular and fraternity booths...nothing.

No signs of 9/11 Truth, that is.

No 9/11 Truth on the anniversary of 9/11 in the country's 6th largest university. No flyers, no posters, no shouters, no picketers...not even a sticker placed on a bathroom wall.

No 9/11 Truth. In the country's 6th largest university. Nada.

Sad.

The truth movement is dead yet again, huh?
What i find strange is that someone would cruise a campus and look to see if 9-11 banners were anywhere instead of looking at some skirts.
Pathetic. Strange days are these.

Maybe in 5 years or so when you go to college you can start a truth club on your campus!

UCF? I've seen 9/11 truth stickers on the bulletin board. There is a truth group in Orlando, so perhaps there is no need to start a UCF group.

ETA: This seems to be the case, since UCF students are members of the Orlando group.

I've seen a few posters here and there on the University of Toronto campus saying "9/11 was an inside job" along with the infowars site, a thing about DRG's talk and the debate that happened at CFI...

Funny part is, nobody cares!

You aren't by any chance referring to the one with 6 members?

1337m4n issues a correction!

I stand corrected, good folks.

It turns out that there was one guy (Population of UCF: ~50,000) in the Student Union Building, handing out free DVDs, for a little over 30 minutes. He talked about foreknowledge but no mention of anything remotely MIHOP.

It is not yet known whether he actually managed to give any away. I will study this matter further and get back to you.

No, the truth movement is too dumb, too stupid, to know when it is done. No, it will flail around, meandering at the bottom of the CT barrel. It will never completely die, as there will always be a few morons in every generation.

Would you call people who believe in that official story "asp-kissers"?

No, I'm referring to this group. Many UCF students are members.

There's also the UCF Knights For Ron Paul group (which is a huge group on campus)- many of them are 9/11 skeptics.
See their meetup group as well as the signifigant co-membership in both groups.

Go to the library and see how many times DRG's books have been checked out!

Student Union is a not the entire college- its a huge campus. As I said, I've seen 9/11 posters in the library. 9/11 truth is quite alive at UCF.

I did indeed check out the Meetup groups. This is what I found:
Meetup Groups:

Orlando Knights for Ron Paul
119 Members
In the past 4 months only 1 new member expressed any interest in 9/11 (Adrinalin)

Freedom to Fascism (Film showing)
6 attendees
No mention of 9/11

Ron Paul Meetup Group
5 members
No Mention of 9/11

Nick Egoroff
2008 University of Central Florida Ron Paul Meetup Group
No mention in members comments of 9/11
No mention of 9/11 in Meetup listing.

To quote: “I'm 32 y.o. Speak russian and english I watched movies like 911 Mysteries, Zeitgeist, Freedom to Fashizm, Money as Debt. They opened my eyes. I dont want to be a slave. And I realy hate Federal Reserve and people who behind it. They must die”
To quote: “Are you a UCF student? If so, what's your major?
No I’m not a student. I’m a welder, driver and builder.

(Couldn't be bothered to go through 63 pages of the above)

Orlando 9/11 Truth Meetup Group
73 Members
To Quote: “Meet other local citizens who are interested in discussing the events of the 9/11 attacks, and the subsequent investigation, commission, and report. Gather for support and possible action on this critical topic.”
(Note – no mention of students or UCF).
Total of 11 new members over past 3 months, one of whom was already a member of WAC. None of these post personal information, so it is not possible to determine if any are members of UCF. To judge from posted photos, some are possibly too mature to be students, quite besides elaborate motorcycle-themed jargon.

Meetup History:

Sept 14th
Attendance: 0
Comments: “If 911 was a inside job that has brought about the 3 Trillion dollar war and the Patriot act, what are we doing about it?”

Sept 7th
Attendance: 0

August 31st
Attendance: 0

August 24th
Attendance: 0

August 17th
Attendance: 1
Comments: “I guess it’s not happening then?”

August 10th
Attendance: 1
Comments: KEVIN: Anybody that wants to meetup just RSVP and then you can use this box to post your location date and time you would like to meet. I am in Oklahoma or else i would have taken over the group a long time ago. I have a web site here if you want to check it out
<URL deleted, emphasis added>
MIKE MAY: For months i have been trying to find out where to meet. why rsvp??? this is probably all a dis-information set up.

August 3rd
Attendance: 2
Comments: Really want to go, but have no idea of the location.

July 27th
Attendance: 0

July 20th
Attendance: 0

July 13th
Attendance: 1
Comments: This group is no longer active. Check out some other Orlando groups or this one: <URL deleted>

So "Huge" turns out to be 119 people on campus, with zero "co-membership" that I can find, and no possible way to determine who amongst the Meetup group are actual students.

"9/11 Truth is quite alive at USF"????
If that activity constitutes "alive" then we are all zombies.

This is not a Tampa group, it is a Florida group - but you can join anyway from outside Florida if you have an action based idea to contribute. 9/11 actions are taking place all over the world and new meet up, face book, my space groups are forming all the time. Let's use this meet up to share our ideas on visibility/event/media actions proposed and in progress as well as the 2008 Lobby Initiative to get face to face with the congressmen. Make a 9/11 tsunami!

Let's restrict this 9/11 meet up to action not evidence, please do not join if you want to debate evidence, instead contact me and I can send you to list serves and forums that debate 9/11 evidence all day long!

Just to condense the point of my longer post above - "huge" in TLB's terms is 0.25% of the student population. I suppose "Quite alive" is the same as "giving out it's last despairing death-rattle".
