Fiorina: "I don't think John McCain could run a major corporation."
Carly Fiorina says "I don't think John McCain could run a major corporation."
(For that matter, neither could Carly Fiorina, who ran Hewlet-Packard into the ground.)

It's like deja vu all over again. She didn't think Obama could run a major corporation either.

Agreed. I'm sorry to see when anyone cherry picks on this one. I saw the whole question and answer on video and it was 100% clear that she was talking about all four Pres/VP candidates and making a broader point that the jobs are entirely different (CEO vs President). She was NOT attempting to make a public statement that McCain, Palin, Obama OR Biden were not specifically and/or personally qualified to be President. To take her quote and put it into that context is just about as intellectually dishonest as you can get. I'm very, very saddened to see some try to run with this. |

Would you like a tissue?
Guess what, people in the McCain campaign are not thrilled about this, either:

Personally, I don't see why any one of the four couldn't run a corporation, and I certainly wouldn't want a president who couldn't even run a corporation. It's kind of like saying that a doctor can't do the job of a nurse. I would hope my doctor knows everything that a nurse knows about medicine and more.
