Fuji Bank and Trust Company.
For my own personal reason i have become interested in the history of the Fuji Bank and Trust company and was wondering if anyone could help provide me with useful information on the company.
Sort of a history lesson on the bank and where it is today. Also if anybody could help me along with the MIZUHO TRUST & BANKING CO. and there relation to the Fuji Bank company. The help would be much appriciated and this conversation may develop given what i read.... Can anyone clearly explain what a Application for Remittance actually is when in regards to a banking firm. (possibly having to do with a Loan???) I know everything i ask for is vague and gives no incentive for the help i require, but i figured asking couldnt hurt at all. Some things that have me confused when reading about this topic are the words "Morikawa" and "NAKADA". These words were stamped on a document i read and im not exactly sure what they are for. Any information will be helpful because i am having trouble finding some. |

"Trust Banks" in Japan generally refers to large institutions that are banks (deposit takers and commercial lenders) and asset management companies, which is a business model pursued elsewhere as well, but not necessarily carrying that name.
Fuji Bank and Trust Company was such a firm founded after WW2, but merged into Mizuho Trust & Banking Co in 2000 as part of the consolidation in the Japanese banking sector that took place in the 1990s. And that institution isa subsidiary of Mizuho Financial Group. An "application for remittance" basically means applying for money back that is yours, as far as I know. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mizuho_Financial_Group http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuji_Bank |
