And it's Obama/McCain by..

Predictions on the overall popular vote? Gallup tends to pick the winner, but always has an number more inflated than the actual result, so:

Obama +4

ETA: The McCain choice is badly worded, so if you think he will win, just describe by how much.

I started a predictions thread for the US election. It is still around here somewhere. I know your post is for the popular plus/minus, but it might be more appropriate to merge this thread with the other.

As for answering your OP,

Obama +3

Obam wins by more than 9 has the lead...I think that is WAY too optimistic.

Obama +7. Not really that optimistic, just hoping.

I actually feel Obama is going to beat the spread. I'm not predicting a total blowout, but I'm looking at the high end of the polling range.

Reason? Gut feeling. The buzz around this election is incredible. It's like nothing I've seen before.

What's the over/under on Obama's electoral count? 340?

I'm taking the over.

It is one of those cases, where if I am wrong, and Obama blows out McCain, you can all rub it in my face, tell me I was wrong, and I will gladly accept the results.
