But why do they say it's Election Night Wednesday the 5th?

WTF? They watched NBC?

Jesus, in the meantime, FOX could've announced that McCain won the presidency ...

This point was debated in the commentary threads posted under some of the pics. A couple explanations were: The date could reflect the time of day the pics were posted (rather than taken); Date could have been posted Eastern Standard Time, just after the election was called.

Really nice intimate pictures and such supportive comments on all of them.

Why were people ripping on Mrs. Obama about that dress?

I thought she looked nice.

Heck, the whole family looks nice. As a family, I think they may represent America well.

Yeah, so many people ripped Michelle's dress. Thing is, seemed they were all - save Sasha - dressed in black to ostensibly mourn Obama's grandmother's death. Seemed Michelle balanced her black outfit with an upbeat dash of red. Seemed appropriate to me.

Course some folks are also complaining about Obama insisting on delivering his speech w/out his family on stage with him. They fancy that "creepy".

Yeah, how creepy that Obama likely wanted to reduce the chances of his family's safety getting compromised.
