Then it was God hates America (because of fags).

Then it was God hates Sweden, Canada, and Ireland.

Now it's God Hates the world, complete with a zoomable clickable flash map so you can check out why God hates each country in the world. Not all are covered yet, but he's working on it.

I haven't clicked them all, but so far it's always something to do with fags.

Fred Phelps is a hate filled bigot but I don't think he is a hypocrite.

I respect him for sticking to his delusional guns and spewing his hate, it is honesty unlike certain pastors who hide their hate and hypocrisy behind the facade of religion. He isn't trying to save souls, he's just informing everyone about the fire and brimstone to come.

I love the guy. I hope when people look at his behavior, it'll drive them away from religion.

You know, this reminds me of the drivers I saw in a truck stop in Texas. One got started about how them FAGS were ruining this country, what with all their anal sex, their kissing in public, and now they wanted to get married. God DAMN! What was NEXT?

Another one got started riffing about how horrible it was about them FAGS, and they were out recruiting our kids to become homos in training. Yup! They had to be DEALT WITH, and SOON!

I was about to say something, when another driver clapped a hand on my shoulder and let me know I ought to shut the hell up.

Personally, I was about to knock the hell out of them, but I saw them later getting into the sleeper in of one of their rigs, back in party row. Like they say, if the sleeper's rockin', don't bother knockin'...

And that was the point the other driver was making. All that vocal trash talk was simply one way for the gay truckers to identify themselves to one another without the real trouble finding out who they were, and what they were up to. They weren't at all upset about gays and lesbians, simply because they were gay themselves.

I've thought about that incident a lot over time. So now, when I hear about Phreaky Phred Phelps and his Philthy Phew, or I read more of SunniMan's hate, I realize, they're just trying to mask their own homosexuality. They're trying to make contact with their own.

SunniMan, seriously. No one here will hate you because you're gay. It's all right with us. Just come out of your closet, and we'll accept you for who you are. And at TAM, we'll even see if we can help you and your Longtime Companion get a room to yourselves. No prob.

To heck with 'God hates', what I really love is the 'if everyone were gay, we'd be unable to reproduce' line touted by people who don't realize how ridiculous it sounds. I love to hear it and go "do you like girls?", to which they'll probably reply yes, at which point I point out to them that if everyone was a girl we'd have no way to make kids

Well, I get the impression that a majority of men find lesbianism to be... rather hot... while the reverse is not necessarily true.

The idea of a woman having sex with a woman also does not carry the immediate assumption of anal sex, which I think is distasteful to some because of the suggestion of coprophilia. However, anal sex between a man and a woman does not appear to hold the same stigma. It's something I haven't worked out yet.

One got started about how them FAGS were ruining this country, what with all their anal sex, their kissing in public, and now they wanted to get married. God DAMN! What was NEXT? Another one got started riffing about how horrible it was about them FAGS, and they were out recruiting our kids to become homos in training. Yup! They had to be DEALT WITH, and SOON! I was about to say something, when another driver clapped a hand on my shoulder and let me know I ought to shut the hell up. Personally, I was about to knock the hell out of them, but I saw them later getting into the sleeper in of one of their rigs, back in party row. Like they say, if the sleeper's rockin', don't bother knockin'... And that was the point the other driver was making. All that vocal trash talk was simply one way for the gay truckers to identify themselves to one another without the real trouble finding out who they were, and what they were up to. They weren't at all upset about gays and lesbians, simply because they were gay themselves. I've thought about that incident a lot over time. So now, when I hear about Phreaky Phred Phelps and his Philthy Phew, or I read more of SunniMan's hate, I realize, they're just trying to mask their own homosexuality. They're trying to make contact with their own. SunniMan, seriously. No one here will hate you because you're gay. It's all right with us. Just come out of your closet, and we'll accept you for who you are. And at TAM, we'll even see if we can help you and your Longtime Companion get a room to yourselves. No prob. We'll be here to support you.
