How come I can't download an mp3 file now?

So they redid the webpage, and it looks nice. Except when I click to download the mp3 file I get the window to "Save file as..."... and then nothing.

For a while I only got FlashTmp0.tmp file, but the last couple tries this evening I can't find those.

I used to just right click and do a "Save target as..." or "Save link as..." depending on which browser I was using. But that option does not exist.

I tried to send a comment, but that failed. Then I tried to send an email at the email address, but it came back as failed.

I did manage to hear it by the hitting the "Play" button. BUT... my dear hubby actually attempted to talk to me, so I missed a bit of the Tim Minchin interview before I was able to pause. When I tried to move the playback a bit, it would not go back.

So I checked the SGU forum, so I am not alone. I finally found the location of the RSS feed, so I know one place where a right mouse click to download the file will work:

Now I need to find the one that will work for 5X5.

Thanks for finding that out.
I usually download it as well. Sometimes I have to re-listen to some things or speed things up a little bit.

I get mine entirely from the RSS feed. It's how I get all my podcasts.

It's a very Flashy site though. Wouldn't want to try accessing it over dial-up.

Well it is working much better now. I noticed that yesterday the download link on the main page was still worthless (unless you like little Flashtmp0.tmp files instead of mp3 files)... BUT! There is now an archive page for both the main podcast and the 5x5, all with functional mp3 download links.

It is getting better. I just can't connect to their Rogue's Gallery blog.
