Hehehe, wrong. That is why I asked that question, because my food was something entirely not-Indian.

This makes no sense. I know that English is not your first language. Could you get someone to help you when you post on here?

Well, tell me what *should* happen. And what I *am* supposed to do.

I am pretty comfortable with looooong silences so I can keep quiet with a phone to my ear for minutes (never gotten to hours) on end.

ABR, tell me and we retry.

MD is near impossible to find over here.

But to give another hint; it was Asian and it consisted of two 'parcels'

ETA: That's actually an interesting question - what can pass through a phone line? I know it sounds like a weird question, but does infrasound carry? Does the sound of a dog whistle or whatever it's called in English?
Q: What can pass through phone lines?
A: Electrical signals.

Q: Do they carry sound?
A: No, the sound has to be converted into an electrical signal (that's what a microphone does). When the signal reaches the receiver, it is converted back into sound.

Q: Can they carry infra- or ultrasound?
A: If they are converted into proper electrical signals, then yes. However, normal telephone apparatus are not built to convert or transmit those frequency ranges.

Q: Could 'brain waves' be picked up and transmitted through a normal telephone circuit?
A: No. The only 'brain waves' we know of are extremely weak signals with an extremely long wavelenght, and they will not couple into a telephone circuit.

I would never read someone's thoughts for less than $2,000

(unless it was part of a set-up; possibly involving sex.)

Reading someone's thoughts is very exhausting. Most people are thinking fairly crappy stuff.

I can guess that your thoughts (Whoever you are) are fairly crappy...and don't interest me.

Nevertheless,

Someone owes me some money. Its the cost of being special.

A quick point regarding telephone system bandwidth:

The vast majority of the system is still analog, so the audio signal commonly has to travel over more than a mile of wire. THe impedance of that wire can be a big issue. At audio frequencies, impedance varies widely within the band we can hear. Telephone engineers try to keep the bandwidth as narrow as possible to make it easier to compensate for these swings in impedance.

As such, there is no interest whatsoever in preserving infrasound and ultrasound.

I had the fried variety.

What is your account of the experiment with realpaladin? I doubt anyone will be willing to invest time, if you do not follow through your experiments.

Oh how is contacting a university going?

Why are you unable to provide evidence that you heard realpaladin's non-verbalized thoughts?

No. A POTS line (Plain Old Telephone System) is typically band-limited to from 300 to 3000 Hz.
Carried digitally, over a T1 or suchlike, it's 12 bits companded to 8 bits, sampled at 8 kHz, so even a perfect reconstruction filter would have an upper limit of 4 kHz.

Only live on TV or Radio?

I am willing to go to a live chatroom somewhere, invite some of the people here, ask a person to be organiser.

You can even call me 'live' and direct.

How about it? You can't say I am nothing but cooperative!

If you seem to hear people's thoughts, you probably suffer from an (undiagnosed) illness.

Otherwise your description of your alleged telepathy provides you with the most simple out: People hear you but don't want to acknowledge it.

abr, you can't pull a hoax on the people in this forum.

You had your chances to receive help and you - fully well understanding doing so - brushed them aside.
