Obama pledges millions to legal pet projects

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/firs...sign-spending/

Quote:
Obama's top hands assigned responsibility to their predecessors and President George W. Bush.
Surprise; anything "bad" or questionable/unpopular things that Obama "has" to do is Bush's fault.

Quote:
"First, this is a $1.7 trillion deficit he inherited. Let's be clear about that. We inherited this deficit and we inherited $4 trillion of new debt," Emanuel said. "That is the facts."
Nice English.

And that means they have to pile on millions (billions?) more in legal pet projects and the like because-?

Also, how do you "inherit" something new? I believe the "new debt" is what THIS administration is racking up (PS if you think I am or was a fan of Bush's economic policies, think again)

Quote:
Emanuel said energy costs are too low, anyway.

Quote:
"They never invested in both alternative energy cars. They got dependent on big gas guzzlers. ...They have a health care cost structure that's outdated," Emanuel said, repeating the administration's premise that health costs must come under control or else risk breaking all other pieces of the budget.
? Auto makers weren't "dependent on gas guzzlers," they simply made what was selling - some were gas guzzlers, some weren't. And what does that have to do w/an "outdated health care cost structure" - ? Is this guy just throwing out buzz words etc that worked so well during the pie-in-the-sky campaign timeframe in the hopes that we will just applaud and look the other way? "uh....alternative fuels! Better health care! Bush sucks! No more war! It's all Bush's fault! We're different! Change! Bush sucks!"

Obamanomics. Should be....interesting.
