Brazilian mayor cancels UFO landing.

http://www.news24.com/News24/Backpag...449431,00.html

Quote:
The mayor of a Brazilian town says he has cancelled a planned landing by an alien spaceship during this week's Brazil v Peru football match.

Mr Berti, the Mayor of Bocaiuva do Sul, claims to be in regular touch with aliens and says they are helping to fund a UFO landing pad he's building in the town.
How has this guy managed to keep his job? According to a google search on the name of the town, Bocaiuva do Sul, he's banned birth control, handed out free Viagra, and banned smoking in an effort to increase his population so he can get federal funding. On top of that, he's built the world's first "UFOport" so the aliens have somewhere to land.

How could people vote for this nutcase? Maybe it's the free Viagra?
