True Astonishments

Paul Harris's latest 9 DVD box set is awesome. Every effect is something that would sell on it's own for 20 or more dollars. I'd recommend this set to everyone interested in magic. It's not just card tricks either. Included are some easter-eggs that feature interviews, more tricks and guest instructors.

Yeah, I've had my eye on it. No way I can afford to buy it right now, but I'm curious: what's the ratio of card to non-card magic? As much as I love working with cards, and I do, I tend to not want to spend too much money on more card tricks because frankly, I have more than I'll ever perform already.

Without actually counting I'd guess the ratio is about 5 to 1.

i like the non-card tricks, they are pretty cool. Some of them are just weird, things that you can pull on people without them knowing you're actually doing a magic trick. Plenty of hidden stuff too from previous paul harris vids and more. Props are decent quality, the pen is really nice.
