I can't load the you tube film, but if those two are together I will predict a perfect storm of stupidity and craziness.

You know I think it's funny how he happened to bring up that he made 400 million dollars.

Isn't this the same guy that said if you eat 500 calories a day you will lose weight?

I have a special hatred for Kevin Trudeau.
People have probably died because of his "you can cure cancer with ground up coral" advice.
Trudeau is an unusually dangerous quack, and laws need to be tightened up about what constitutes practicing medicine without a licence to keep him from peddling his snake oil.

Which is technically true, but it is not healthy and you may not survive the diet.

Oh..I agree. It is way unhealthy! I am currently dieting and have lost about 15 pounds and my calorie intake is around 1500. I still have a soft drink daily and a snack every now and then. It is really about commitment, there is no easy way.

As for the cancer stuff...As a survivor I will gladly tell Mr. Trudeau that he is full of it. They told me the side effects of the chemo and meds and honestly I have been around for 20 years since, so I guess it all worked out huh?

Not to mention that Trudeau was convicted of fraud back in the 1990's'

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Trudeau

And this con man is the kind of guy that Jones promotes. Nice.

Well, birds of a feather, flock together. Hadn't you guys at JREF said that Jones himself is a con-man. It is sort of a con-man "you rub my back and I will rub your back". Both men always tried to find an opportunity to exploit other people lack of knowledge and promote their shoddy products, except Trudeau is making more money at it.

Wow, I thought that Jones hit the bottom, but someone threw him a shovel, and now he is digging.

Trudeau is a fraud and Jones is a whore.

In addition to Trudeau's books themselves being dangerous, he's also scamming those who order from the infomercial in another way:

862 complaints

Most of those are from people who were automatically subscribed to his newsletter and/or website for $10 a month and can not unsubscribe regardless of how hard they try.

That he's so brazen about it and continues to get away with it despite the terms of his previous conviction makes him a unique brand of con artist.

Treadeau has pretty much moved his activities to the internet, since the Feds finally found grounds to ban him from television.

I must've seen his infomercials being shown at least ten times while channel surfing last weekend.

The Wikipedia article states:

Quote:
On August 7, 2008, Judge Gettleman issued an order that Trudeau was not to appear in infomercials for three years from the date of the order, and was to pay a penalty of $5,173,000, an estimate of the royalties received from the weight loss book.[27][28] On November 4, 2008, Judge Gettleman amended the judgment to $37,616,161, the amount consumers paid in response to the deceptive infomercials. The court denied Trudeau’s request to reconsider or stay this ruling on December 11 of the same year.[8]
I guess he found a loophole for infomercials he made BEFORE the court judgement. I wish to heaven they would find a way to keep him off the air entirely.

His Pool (the game) venture sounds the closest, but I would demand a third party examine the balls used in the game to see they are not "shaved" before I would put up the money to play in one of his tourneys.

Trudeau on the Medical Profession:

Quote:
One common criticism by consumer groups is that Trudeau has had no medical training. Trudeau responds that by not having such training, he is not biased towards pharmaceutical companies and the FDA, and that medical doctors "are taught only how to write out prescriptions" for "poisons" and "cut out pieces of a person's anatomy." .
I have not seen trying to make ignorance a virtue like that for a long, long, time.
God, I hate this guy.

No, they aren't, they keep getting harrass by MIB making them offers to join the NWO.
But being the honest citizens that they are (trying to keep straight face), they always refuse.

I wonder if there is any way to enact a lifetime ban of this sleazebag from ever using any form of mainstream medical treatment.

You know, the whole "goose/gander" thing.

Seriously, we need to define practicing medicine without a licence more carefully to get the hucksters like Trudeau off the air.
