Sage advise about Atheists?
I found this link while cruising the fundies boards. There is a cartoon about 1/2 way down the page that gives advise to children about what they should do if they encounter an atheist.
I thought it very amusing (and I would like to say that I am seldom sad...) Thanks http://objective.jesussave.us/kidz.html Any thoughts from anyone else? |

"Jesus wants us to be hot for him"? Sounds like pedophilia to me.
And stay away from those mean atheists, kiddies. They're grumpy and full of scary ideas that might make you think. Whatever you do, don't think! Thinking is a satanic trick that will lead you directly to hell! Never think! That's for Jesus and your pastor to do. |

(I dont think you'll ever have such a good laugh until you've seen the very real fanmail and hatemail that site has generated...) |

The professor is simply full of misinformation that isn't even biblically consistant.
T-Rex was a herbavore? WTF? While T-Rex may have been a scavenger, this explanation makes no sense. Why not just say T-Rex wasn't on the ark so it's extinct? At least that theory provides some sort of explanation. Ah, the old "fossils are from the Flood" hypothesis. This theory is just based on the fact that carbon dating isn't entirely accurate. There's no evidence to indicate that it takes 4,000 years to form a fossil, nor is there any evidence that all fossils are from THE biblical flood and not other floods that occurred earlier or later. It also does not account for icthyoid fossils, since they say fish did not get buried in the flood. Without an effective means of dating the fossils, Creationists can't prove how old the fossils are. Instead they have an even less accurate system known as faith in whover told them the theory was true. LMAO! Adam had no navel! Well, that's just fine with me. So, professor, how many angels can sit on the head of a pin? Flood-cloud-related rickets! That's just great. WTF is that supposed to mean? Neanderthals don't look like rickets victims, and they're neither our ancestors nor monkey men anyway. Awww, God gave the stinkbug defenses against athiests instead of predators. Evidence that supports one theory can always be used to support another, even if it's supported by people who are for some strange reason opposed to the first. |

If you had checked the FAQ (which you may access via the link in my sig line) you'd find that the forum is pretty much of the consensus that The Objective website is a parody.

Again, and I'm not trying to be a d*** about this, but this is a well worn subject for this forum. In the FAQ I've detailed why the consensus is that it's a parody. I'll go ahead an post to you the seacrhes and links as to why we think so from the FAQ. If any of them don't work, then please, check the entry for the FAQ.

The only conclusive evidence you need that the site is a spoof, is that the Rock band.. ZOUNDS
.... has no CD's to sell, even though they tout two that they have made... Note: The would-be link that declares " MP3s and Videos " says " ( coming soon ) Any musician will know what I am talking about.. I do like their ' Abstinent ' boxers though, which you can actually buy... ![]()

Parody sites are best when people take them for the real thing.
I'm waiting for the precious moment when someone tries quoting the website to prove a point they were trying to make. |

That'd be funny. |

Even though I am a grouchy, grump who lashes out at children I had to laugh at that one.

"Hopsiah the Kanga-Jew "
I haven't laughed out loud at the computer screen in ages but this did it for me. The guestbook is full of righteous indignation from all sorts. I especially liked the drop down choices for your religion: Catholic/Idolaters Hindoo/Hoodoo Macintosh/Eunuch Evolutionist/Animist I agree with DarkPrimus. This is funny because it's hard to tell the stuff they made up from the stuff other people made up. |

It's always a conspiracy to believe what you cannot prove is true.
