Disagreement over Vegetables of Mass Destruction

Quote:
US, Mexico disagree on source of tainted green onions

The Food and Drug Administration reaffirmed green onions as the cause of a recent hepatitis outbreak on Tuesday, a day after a Mexican official claimed there was no evidence the outbreak could have been caused by growers there.

The FDA said green onions have been found to be the cause in outbreaks in Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia in September and in Pennsylvania in late October through early November. The most recent outbreak sickened more than 630 people and killed three.
I hope somebody in-the-know will leek info to authorities so they can catch the rap-scallions responsible!

This story is just another beet up. There are no vegetables of mass destruction. The onions were a plant...it's obvious.
