Map dowser
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUQ4j...layer_embedded
Was brought up in a thread on Scepcop. Michael Cook map dowser. Seems a long time ago but wondered if there was any more info on him. I would have thought getting a hit in front of Randi would have spurred him on.

This is not the only thread on the topic. See http://www.skepticforum.com/viewtopi...11502&start=80 (warning. Clicking on this link without your tin foil hat on will reduce your IQ by 5 points)
Azrael 5's thread in google is number 1, debunkingskeptics is number 3 and my link is number 4 See also this link http://www.britishdowsers.org/forum/...&t=1364&p=6573

A man dowsed the grave site of Robert the Bruce with a map that had roads and was told that only one grid contained a cultural landmark... and he guessed at two of them. And he's a local???
I'm *********** astounded. |

I find map dowsing a good guide, but need to walk the area to pin point things. Ok you can laugh now. Graves are easy to find.

Did Randi know where the landmark was? He could have given the position away.
"see, I swing this pendulum and ask the question, and look at Randi for any hints as to the squares. I got reactions from two of the squares, so I will keep doing it until I know for sure which one has the landmark" |

That was my thought too. There is nothing in the video that says the answer is no, but Randi should know that this may ruin the experiment.
