It is Dominionist theology. They exist out in the open, and they are powerful; which scares the living crap out of me. This is why I am the only person in the room to get irrated with those "Foundation for a Better Life" commercials because they are sponsored by a Dominionist. Well at least it gives me an excuse to boycott Walden Media, besides the outsourcing of Narnia cg/digital effects to India, since it is owned by the same idiot that owns "FFABL".

I am about half-way through the book. I have a mixed reaction but at the very least the answer to your OP question, yes, it is very real.
