Who wants to drink beer Thursday and/or Friday and/or Saturday and/or Sunday night?

I think there is an "official" happy hour Friday night, and I'm sure the crowd will go somewhere Saturday night after the conference, so who wants to drink beer Thursday and/or Sunday night?

I'll be there!

But, I thought Rebecca was, too. Did she change her mind?
(And, if so, was it because of me? )

I live about 40-50 minutes away, depending on various things. So, I won't be in a hotel.

I would, if I smoked cigars. But, I don't.

Instead, I am going to this: http://www.necsscon.org/

I'll be there for sure. & I've been trying to get some skeptics to join me for the craft beer festival that week. I can't post URs due to my n00b forum status but you can see details at nycbeerweek dot com slash events slash cask. What do you all think? I've always loved these events.

Cool, Scrut's in town!

If you want to hang Thursday night I'd be down. Shoot me a PM and we could exchange info.

Don't know if I could make it Friday to Drinking Skeptically but I'll be at the conference, Saturday.

I'm planning to drive from north of Boston, MA, to Greenwich, CT, and taking the 08:12 train in to Grand Central Station. It's less than a mile walk to the conference site. I'll take the 20:40 or 21:40 train back. Is anyone else going that way?

We have the hotel arranged finally, and will be driving down Friday for some bumming around the city and Skeptics in the Pub. We're leaving Sunday morning for the next conference, the Vintage Computer Festival at the InfoAge Science Center in Wall, New Jersey.

11 foreign countries, but I've never been to anything besides JFK in NYC. Should be fun!

I'm taking the LIRR arriving at Penn Station around 9:00. I don't have a ticket yet - it's not sold out is it? I'm a cheapskate and don't want to finance Ticketmaster with their Convenience Charges.

Well, bought a ticket and it went to waste as I had to go to work to complete a project.

But at least I got to have dinner with The Central Scrutinizer on Thursday. Aside from being a super-cool guy my wife thought he was quite charming.

Yep, Scrut...charming! Who knew?!

Great to meet you, Scrut. We had a lot of fun hanging with you!

Yes, I was!

And, if you saw me today, at the Jolly 13 Club's brunch, you would recognize me even more, because I happened to wear a "White and Nerdy" T-shirt: a short-sleeved version of the shirt I wore in that video.

Sorry I didn't see you at the conference.

I too had a great time Thursday night! I look forward to getting together before NECSS II (don't know the dates, but they sounded pretty confident that there would be one).

And for the record, Joy is smokin' hot. But I'm sure you hear that a lot.

It seems that there is every intent of there being one, they sold out and had to turn people away after all.
