Fired from his job, Oral Roberts' son starts "curing" cancer

As you might recall Richard Roberts, Oral Roberts' son, was forced out of his position as president of Oral Roberts University with very embarrassing accusations. Well, it appears Roberts has now decided to "cure" cancer, and on television no less where he asks for donations. But he'll have to becareful about what he says in the United Kingdom.

But cancer experts have claimed Mr Roberts would be giving very vulnerable individuals false hopes of a recovery, with his claims branded cruel and damaging.

Glasgow City Council's trading standards unit is monitoring the situation. A spokesman said: "If Mr Roberts, or anyone else, advertises or promises a cure for cancer then he is likely to be in breach of consumer protection regulations.
