Party for Rebecca!!

So we had a lot of food, a lot of fun, and a lot of beer!!

Special thanks to Rick, MA and Showercomic for staying until the end and the last empty beer bottle was collected!

I think she likes the cake MA made!

OK we're wet, we're tired, we've had too much beer... but we got cake

And Jeff is trying to get internet (really we weren't making him sit in the corner because he had been bad... at least this time)

Thanks again, Kitty. We had lots of fun.

I did NOT get to paddle a kayak or swim today! I am very upset, as I was getting used to the routine.

There were no Mike's Hard Lemonades to finish with breakfast, or to drink when overheated in the afternoon. No random cheeses to snack on. Not even any smores fixings to not be able to get to because it was raining by the time for them (that part was the same).

In short, today was absolutely nothing like the last two days at the cabin...and that is what was bad about it! (Well, okay, I didn't get anymore mosquito bites at work!)

Thanks for the use of the cabin! ShowerComic's task tomorrow is to get the pictures assembled. Will post tomorrow night.

Gee . . . and I was actually up in Boston this past weekend. I could have brought some beer--plus my daughter who I was moving into an apartment to start grad school at Northeastern. Oh well, she'll be there the next 3 years so I expect I'll be back from time to time. Glad you all had fun.

I was just so glad everyone seemed to be having a good time! It's only a one room hut, but it's the unofficial skeptic club house - all skeptics welcome! When I got it I decided it wasn't really so much for myself and my family, it really belongs to all our friends (that just happen to also be skeptics...though it comes with all that homeopathic medicine right off the dock!!)

Awww.... looks like everyone had a blast.

I guess I'll remind myself that I couldn't have gone swimming anyway with all this road rash. Additionally, my sister and I had to fly down to Florida on Sunday night because my Dad's ailing.
I still need to get up there one day.

Congrats Rebecca!!!

Well, as the Coast Guard has decided to call it a Port Condition Whiskey... I suggest we all open our bottles of whiskey and sing to "Danny Boy".

please note also, we bought the "camp" with the knotty pine walls. knotty pine is a favorite with people that live by lakes....I think it's some virus thing they pick up from the water....

the Alligator is a giant floating thing of pollen. Yick. there is a hydro plant near the cabin. When it is making electricity, somehow through filtering and such... foam comes out. The foam is a lot of air and pollen.
