After the death of Walter Cronkite, a survey was run to determine the currently most trusted man in america. The winner was Jon Stewart. The united states has no journalists any more, they're all entertainers. The BBC and CBC tend to be better, but still fail miserably.

They are routinely taken in by claims and lies that could be exposed by five minutes with google. This is why the print newspaper industry is floundering, blogs do research, they don't.

I think even more dangerous than the stuff spewed by crazy anti-vaxers (the ones claiming they cause autism), I think the news media should do a better job allaying other baseless fears people have. Many people think you can get the flu from a flu shot. And this is bolstered by post hoc ergo propter hoc since many people get the shot in flu season, so they get sick before the shot has had a chance to build up their immunity sufficiently, and they attribute getting sick to taking the shot.

They'd do a lot better to tell people that antibacterial hand sanitizers don't prevent the spread of viral diseases and that the flu shot cannot cause the flu.

i do know that they have micro-chips that they* have wanted to implant into all of us...
how could they possibly create a scare that would force everybody to get shots?

sure, anyone living in the monoculture who says differently doesn't understand the true meaning of the word...
our culture has taken the worst of what it is to be human and made it the norm...
from our birthing process, our schooling, our government control, our healthcare, our penal system, our food supply...
ALL OF IT...
one purpose...
to keep us in a constant state of fear,...
fight or flight...
no time to think what is going on or why...?

legalize and popularize the most devastating drugs,
forbid and demonize the healing ones...
don't trust anyone!
de-socialize us...

as i look into schooling for our son, tristan, i am overwhelmed by the system and how it is systematically shutting down our children...
how?
washing their hands 10+ times a day with sanitary soap (the stuff that kills life and the child's immune system)
making them brush their teeth with fluoride, a known poison and one that crystalizes the third eye...
fluorinated water targeting babies sold in wal and kmart? just madness!
placing children under florescent lighting, which continually drains a child's energy, making them sick and depressed...
not to mention the whole dumbing down of us with an educational system created with the intention of making perfect solders and factory workers...
and if a child continues down the path of showing indifference or intolerance to this system we shut them down completely with Ritalin!

will we as a people give up ourselves to this madness?
do we surrender our children to their* experiments based on fear?

we are going thru a great awakening and shift folks, that is self-evident (if you know what to look for)...
the children are to be our guides during this time...
my hope is that people start realizing that we need to free them, not control them...
they have the answers, we just need to start asking the right questions...

please if you can, spread the word, educate ourselves...
the future is ours, we have a say in what we want to create...

*they... the "powers" that are loosing control very fast. personally i see them as entities that feed off of humans ability to radiate "negative" energy, fear, anger, rage, ect... these entities that have been in control since we went to "sleep" and have manipulated certain powers (churches, governments, conquers, etc) to place humans into a fear state. as we are now moving back into alignment and experiencing the dawn before the daylight, the fear is receding. these entities are not "evil", just comfortable in the lower vibes that they are used to. the good news is, they prefer the higher vibes, as all creation does, and quickly dissipate when recognized. the end result is full potential human awakening, and it is happening...

Just read the crazy comments in any news section on diseases that might involve vaccines. They of course post links to homeopathy, natural health, and actual antivax sites where they got their crazy "info" from.

Jon Stewart is not a journalist?

Seems to me that since his comedic origins, Stewart's journalistic skill and integrity has increased exponentially.

Comedy and journalism are not mutually exclusive. In fact, when done well, comedy enhances journalism and brings it to new audiences. Stewart is a very good journalist. Did you see his interview with Betsy McCaughey? With Jim Cramer? With Pervez Musharraf? (To name three that I can immediately bring to mind that kept me glued to the box)

I think some people see only the comedy and miss out on the real journalism that Stewart does.
