Vuze stuck on infinity

Why is my corrupt Uncle's Vuze downloads stuck on the infinity symbol and refuse to download even a byte?

The most likely problem is that the files partially downloaded were moved before the client could finish the downloads. If that is the case then put them back in their original directory and restart the downloads. Or it is possible that the files are actually corrupt. If not then more info is needed.

I used Vuze way back when it was Azureus... now it is nothing more than a bloated advertising platform. A few months ago I switched to utorrent (it's actually the little 'u' symbol for "micro" but I have no clue how to make that symbol) and it is quite a bit better than Vuze in pretty much every way possible.

I agree with that. utorrent is probably the best client out there and is totally streamlined.

One possibility is that your ISP is blocking the port that Vuze is listening on.
