Here is a list of all the free tools I use:
MyDefrag for all of my defragging, Eusing Registry Cleaner Eusing Registry Defrag (does more than regular defrag) Spybot S&D for threat searches AVG Virus free edition. Many of these have settings for running scheduled scans, which the one you are asking about doesn't. I set everything up to update and run all while I am asleep. ETA: I have found that the more a program does, the less it is on top of things. I keep all my functions separated into different programs. |

Generally, if you don't know why you need it (especially if this is still the case after someone has recommended it), you probably don't need it.

Multiple tools > suite of tools
For being completely free, it's not a bad suite. But even the BEST suite isn't as good as the individual tools. |
