Kirk the Idiot

and his gang are handing out Darwin's books with an intro
claiming the same usual lies on college campuses.
Apperantly they can do this because it is now in the public domain.
where do they get teh money to do this?
My 2 points

1) How sad that most of the kids simply take the book instead of laughing in this morons face for the idoit that he is.

2) Does this mean that we could write an intro to the bible and hand them out as well?

1) It's freedom of speech, they're entitled to their opinion.

2) Yes. We always could.

2) Depends on the version. The KJV is public domain, but more recent translations are still under copyright.

It's not complete. Apparently it's ripe with material yanked out to make it appear as incoherent gibberish and Comfort appearing as a voice of reason.
Also this already has a thread and will probably be linked to it pretty soon.

Thomas Jefferson' Bible, The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth, for a second.

I still like Red Dwarf for their quip in the "Better Than Life" episode:

Quote:
Newsreader: Good evening. Here is the news on Friday, the 27th of Geldof. Archeologists near Mount Sinai have discovered what is believed to be a missing page from the Bible. The page is currently being carbon-dated in Bonne. If genuine, it belongs at the beginning of the Bible and is believed to read, "To my darling Candy. All characters portrayed within this book are fictitous and any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental." The page has been universally condemned by church leaders.
