No facepalm is big enough for this.

I'm not going to tell you what it is about. It's something you have to...it's...

Just read it....

http://www.shieldsgazette.com/news/3...ike.5840053.jp

There are so many things in this article to facepalm to, but this is the one that does it for me...

Hehe,

reminds me of when I had to get an ultrasound of my heart. I couldn't tell what I was looking at, but I tried to get the doctor to give me a picture, like they do for pregnant women. I wanted to bring the picture to work and tell people it was a picture of my unborn child, and see if I could get anybody to believe me despite being male.

He's 29, she's 34 and they have a 16 year old son and a 15 year old daughter? Did they conceive him when she was 17 and he was 12?

Unless the father of the two older children is another man and she met her current husband later.

The first foetus in history wearing sunglasses. Whatever were they doing back in March?

In any event, it can't be him. He is still alive and working with Elvis and Princess Di. at McDonalds in Iceland.

I'm a seventh child, and Billie Jean is not my lover. Maybe I was the reincarnation of Michael Jackson forty years before he died!!

The only explanation here is that 1) Michael Jackson impregnated the woman before he died... and 2) Lamarck was right.

To be fair, there is really no hint of anything supernatural there, they seem just amazed at the Jacko resemblance. She even just calls 7 a mythical number, which is entirely correct.

You've got a point there.

Still. I think the whole thing deserves a facepalm...

The biggest call for a "facepalm" that I see here is what the person who edited that image did to Picard's arm!

(btw, What's the scene that the more common/usual Picard image comes from?)

Mythical?

"seven is a mythical number"

Really? I assume she means "mystical" but this is a lot funnier. Who can forget the story of Zeus's rape of the number seven? Or the time seven got ass ears?

Actually 7 is simultaneously, real, rational, whole, and integral. ETA and natural

I think you are confusing 7 with i, which is completely imaginary, so may very well by mythical as well.

No, no, no- the square root of a negative number is imaginary.

The logarithm of a negative number is mythical.

Completely different.

(Yes, I know that's completely wrong, since the log of a negative number is also imaginary, and can be defined in terms of i. But I thought it sounded good.)
