Programmers: JavaScript Query
Hey all:
Besides w3schools, are there any other good tutorials or resources for budding JS programmers? |

I wouldn't follow the w3schools tutorials, their code is ghastly. The Developerworks link posted by Wudang is a lot nicer (though more effort!).
Once you've gone through that, I'd suggest reading about Unobtrusive Javascript, which is of capital importance for accessibility. Then I'd probably try to pick up a JS library to do all the boring mundane tasks for you. I like jQuery, but there are a few others. |

This country is planted thick with laws from coast to coast, man's laws not God's, and if you cut them down—and you're just the man to do it—do you really think that you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I'd give the devil the benefit of the law, for my own safety's sake. —Robert Bolt, A Man For All Seasons

Take a look at Douglas Crockford's web site. He's a well-known Javascript expert.
