I just received a rather bizarre PM from Childlike Empress.

It includes these statements:

I've scanned over lots of CE's posts. Mostly very brief, somewhat sarcastic remarks. I don't ever remember seeing anything technical or engineering based. So his note caught me by surprise.

I returned a note asking him/her to give me an run-down on his/her extensive background, but have not received any reply.

I just did a scan of about 50 of his/her posts. As expected, lots of chatter about politics, witness statements, and brief empty snark.

And nothing that invokes the slightest engineering.

I've never crossed paths with CE before. Can any of you fill me in on his/her technical background?

Tom

CE and bs and JJ are the extent of my 'ignore' list. Not much content there worth reading.

Had I only known I didn't need to spend all those years in school and on the job to qualify as an expert on engineering, I could have saved a lot of time and money. Alas, I took the long route (which appears to be the road less traveled, at least in the 9/11 conspiracy community).

When a person gives up cigarettes how much has he really given them up if he has to talk about them all the time ? Know where I'm going with this ?

Just smoke the damn fag and dump the monkey on your back.

The guy received an answer. I don't know if it is against the rules to post PMs, but it certainly is bad style. I return the bad style with the PM i sent back:

The sad thing is that many of them could have indeed completed an engineering degree since they had their big awakening in 2005 or whatever.

Hmmmm, you're invoking "bad style"?

How quaint.

Let's leave the personal stuff behind, and stick to the pertinent, 9/11 events.

Why don't you give provide a meaningful, content laden synopsis on the collapse of the WTC7 walls. As you understand the event.

Alternatively, you could attempt to answer the questions that I put to Tony in the original quote that prompted this little tete a tete.

Or would that discussion be part of all that engineering you've forgotten...

Let's see if you've got substance to back up your strut.

Tom

[small derail] I quit smoking 3 years ago after 35 years (I know I probably smoked longer then you've been alive) and I'm never going back. I don't look at it like what I gave up, it's what I gained, better life.[/derail]

Are you a licensed engineer of any sort. Are you?
It's never " good style" to not tell the truth or threaten someone - PM or not. His "act" is to rationally and thoroughly demolish Truther deceptions and falsehoods.
Your reply didn't enhance your factless posts.
If you're not a licensed engineer you're the one that deserves to go away.

I gave up a mere three months ago. Easy and hard by turns. I have to confess that I am a bit like like Carlitos in this. I still have the monkey on my back to some extent. So I am going to smoke a single cigarette every saturday night (or at least give myself the right to).

Don't do it! One leads to two, two to three, three to......you know where I'm going.

Get the monkey off your back before you get older and you HAVE to.

Just saying!

Talking about this I remember a true story. I kid you not.

Just after 9/11 the BBC ordered a general trawl of their electronic data to look for certain keywords like terrorist', 'bin laden' 'Twin Towers ' nd so on.

Thre was some mementary excitement when the computers spat out stuff about ' bins laden with this or bins laden with that' lol

But he would be a good monkey if I can control him. I would love to be able to have the occasional civilised cigarette.

We know there was fire in his vicinity, so the best explanation, clearly, is that he was burned.

Any hypothesis that requires something we don't KNOW was present (such as explosives) is a weaker explanation.

It sounds to me like his skin experienced a sudden general application of searing heat without flames. There is no mention of his hair or clothes being burned as far as I am aware.

There is no "stunt", CE.

You are welcome to publish anything that you want. I requested (and still request) that you keep the personal info that I revealed to you confidential.

For the specific reason that I've already endured my "twoofer stalker", complete with attempts to track me to my home town & threats to kill me with a sniper rifle. Because that person, who believes in the Illuminati/Jew run world, chemtrails, HAARP generated earthquakes, CIA developed AIDS, and end of the world in 2012, felt that I was evil for believing that heat can weaken steel. I'd rather not go thru that again.

The first sentence of your post was not the "bizarre" part of your post. That sentence was reasonable.

You'll note that in my post, I stated (with exactitude) that your post "included" the statements listed. I did NOT say that it was your complete post.

Once again, you are welcome to review my posts. Easily done. Do a search on posts by me that contain the word "the". You'll get just about every one of them.

You'll find that ~80% of them address some engineering or aviation point. (My two principle interests.) About 10% address some non-engineering issue. And the last 10% bash bill smith for being a clueless idiot & troll. (You'll find this last group to be old posts, before I achieved a blissful, BS-free existence thru the prophylactic application of the "Ignore" feature.)

Now, please clarify something for me. You claim to have "forgotten more engineering than I'll ever know". This statement intentionally implies some level of engineering experience/expertise. I asked you to relate exactly what engineering experience you possess. I haven't heard a response as yet.

Feel free to elaborate on your engineering background.

Feel free to also elaborate on the engineering aspects of my original claim that sparked your reply to me. (My claim that "the fall of the unsupported WTC7 walls could be understood with 'sophomore level engineering'.") After I hear a cogent technical counter-claim from you, I'll be happy to keep my replies strictly related to the engineering aspects of that issue.

BTW, this is an internet opinion site.

No "authority" is required to post here.

They even let bill smith & you post.

You've shown that to be a rather insignificant distance.
From Bill's description (something that can burn flesh while leaving hair and clothing intact), it sounds like he suspects the aliens from Spielberg's "War of the Worlds". There is certainly no terrestrial "blast of heat" that behaves in this way.

Wrong again. Your claim was "The collapse mechanisms & dynamics are freshman level engineering."

I'm not interested in any further discussion with you.

Thanks for demonstrating exactly your commitment to clarification & dialog. Versus "Childlike" quote mining.

(Good choice in pseudonym.)

Yeah, how surprising is that.

Talking of a ' rather insignificant distance ' was that heavy jets that you flew or micro/ultralights ? You know the ones ? You wind up an elastic band I think.
