Kevin Trudeau is now selling "Your Wish Is Your Command" a knockoff of "The Secret"

It is available for $300 at the Natural Cures store. I saw a glimpse of the infomercial last night. That guy just keeps coming back.

At first glance this set looks like just another 'go out and get it' motivational series, but looking into it, you use 'conscious vibrational programming' to get what you want. Rubbish.

"If you have ever been exposed to "The Secret", "Think and Grow Rich" or are familiar with "The Law of Attraction", then Your Wish is Your Command: How Anyone Can Make Millions will teach you how to make the knowledge work for YOU!"

That means if you were duped by these other books, then please give us your money too!

But hey, $300 is nothing for the invite into a secret society. I actually got letters in the mail for a similar society. What do they expect to accomplish?

The concept of using one's mind to get what they want in life is actually pretty simple. One utilizes past experiences, tales related to them of others' past experiences, and sound reasoning to determine what course of action needs to be taken in order for one to get what s/he wants. Of course, this course of action actually needs to be taken by the individual, and good perseverance and will-power are needed. And this doesn't stop random chance and circumstance from interfering with one's plans, nor does it stop one from making mistakes. The real world can be a bitch.

Of course, the kind of person who'd spend $300 on a book claiming all one's wishes can come true just by thinking about it probably isn't the kind of person who can use their mind effectively to get what they want. The kind of person who can fool people into buying such a book, however, probably is (assuming loads of easy cash is what he wants from life).

Guess Trudeau thought the phony Cancer cures were becoming too risky, and needed a new way to fleece the suckers.
What gets to me is that the guy has such sucess, and his cons are not really that clever. More skilled practioners of that art are probably amazed at his sucess.

I used to have a boss ( well head of where i worked actually) that ended up reading the secret and the related garbage. And i will say that he drove what was a thriving segment of a failing call center , into an abysmal pit of poor management.

It was painfully obvious that the mans focus was " try and it will happen" any idea he had was enforced, and regardless of progress , or feasibility , followed. For example, our job was from time to time given, for lack of a better term a report card. Now averege score for any segment would be about a 75-80. To put that in perspective, that is the guy you would be happy getting on the other end of the line. Now at one point this man decided that if one got anything less than 100% twice, they would be fired. ( this was nearly impossible, as coming back earlier than expected from a hold for example, was a 5 percent deduction.) Now i wont go into to many details, but this started to heavily effect things like attendance, customer satistfaction ( if one has to be perfect, one is going to sound like a robot. ) among many other things.

Now instead of changing this, we were subjected to meetings every 2 weeks about how easy it is to achieve and how under no circumstances this was going to change. Needless to say the segment failed.

Trying and succeeding are not the same thing. If so a one armed boxer wouldn't be at a disadvantage.

Nope. He's still on television selling????? his phony cures. I saw him for all of five minutes and he managed to utilize every fallacy in the book and use conspiracy mongering.

I like how the list price is $1,000, but that you can now buy it for the low, low price of $297. You save $703! What a bargain!

And the Amazon.com style comments are priceless. Here is my favorite:

Quote:
"The best information about everything in life that I will ever need. It has changed my life to the best forever. Now that I know this information I can absolutely do, be or want anything in my life. My wishes are truly my command!"
I decided to post my own comment for this product, to wit:

Quote:
What a bunch of crap. I can't believe that anyone would be stupid enough to spend actual United States currency on this scam. And please, do you really think that anyone looking at this website is so stupid to think that this thing really ever listed for $1,000. Really? People are such dummies that they think that they are actually saving $703. Then again, maybe they are. Alas, I think that the percentage chance that you will post this review is zero point zero.
The drinks are on me at TAM 8 if they actually publish it (I don't think that I will be buying any drinks).

Only 300 dollars, what a bargain!

I always think back to a Donald Duck comic I read when I was a child. Donald buys a book from an advertisement that promises to make him rich, and it says "to become wealthy, write your own book like this!"

In defense of Think and Grow Rich, discarding all the MasterMind Committee of Famous Rich Dead Guys woo, and the simplistic "Reprogram *your* unconscious mind!" pop psychology, Napoleon Hill did actually say something that's worthwhile:

"If the thing you wish to do is right, and you believe in it, go ahead and do it!"

All the rest is commentary.

A new development.

Title: [Kevin Trudeau held in criminal contempt, facing jail time]

Subtitle: Federal judge in Chicago acts after being flooded with emails prompted by the author-infomercial king

Excerpt
Quote:
Trudeau was found in criminal contempt of court Thursday and nearly had handcuffs slapped on him after he asked his supporters to email the federal judge overseeing a pending civil case brought against him by the Federal Trade Commission

No doubt the "natural cures" true believers will start screaming about how "The Conspiracy" is trying to shut up Trudeau, and they'll make a martyr out of him. Which is fine by me, as long as he's a martyr rotting in jail.

Kevin Trudeau is now selling "Your Wish Is Your Command" a knockoff of "The Secret"

Good day I was wondering if anyone new the were someone could purchase both of the "Your Wish Is Your Command" AND "The Secret" for a discounted price? This review is what sold me.

Mr. Trudeau is a smart man obviously has been doing something right. I quote..

"You do not have to like Mr. Trudeau or what he says, although his Natural Cures They Don’t Want You To Know About remains the best selling health book of all time, so lots of people do like what he says, or some of it. The question we asked in this groundbreaking show was whether he was, or was not, a member of a globalist secret society or working to further their agendas. He said “NO!” and, based on our technological assessment of his words and meanings, we believe him.

Google search the first sentence and read the whole story, hope this helps, T

You understand that popularity is not necessarily a sign of accuracy, right?

The point is he has saved many lives and keeps on doing so. He has continuously spent his hard earned money to fight for the first amendment rights, not only for himself but for all of us. (if you have listened to his radio show) The testimonials are overwhelming to the amount of positive feed back anywhere you read on the internet. I have purchased and listen to the whole 14 cd series "Your Wish Is Your Command" and the information I gathered was outstanding in my view and he explained a lot of life long questions I have been asking myself. He leaves it up to us, which is the way it should, us making our own choices for what we believe in, not being guided around like a pack of lost sheep. All that HAS to be said is this: He is a self made Billionaire, Who do you listen to? hope this helps, T

First, he is not a billionaire. Second, where did you hear that? Third, a more accurate description of Mr. Trudeau is "self made felon":

All his companies have collectively done billions in sales, with many satisfied clients. As far as his personal net worth, the CD series hints at this. Buy the CD and find out that and a lot more! It has changed my life in ways I was unaware of.

Can you please point to some evidence of his net worth?

Can you please point to some scientific evidence he has saved lives? (A single peer reviewed paper on his techniques will be fine.)

Thanks in advance.

I wrote this for another thread that dealt with "The Secret" and "The Law of Attraction".

Originally Posted by Hokulele View Post

My paternal grandfather was a curmudgeon, a conservative, and ultimately a wonderful human being. He grew up during the Great Depression, served in World War II, met and married an absolute gem of a woman, and raised 4 kids to the best of his ability.

One of those children chose to marry a Japanese woman (remember, he was a WWII vet) at a time when such was almost unthinkable to a white, middle-class American. He accepted her into the family, although possibly with a little encouragement from his wife. One of those children chose to marry an African-American man at a time when such was almost unthinkable to a white, middle-class American. He accepted him into the family, although possibly with a little more encouragement from his wife. One of those children chose to marry his boyfriend (yes, that is correct) at a time when such was almost unthinkable to a white, middle-class American. He accepted him into the family, although possibly with a lot more encouragement from his wife.

These children went on to have children of their own, and life continued until this day. Sadly, not for him.

He died believing he was a failure.

At least, he didn't feel he accomplished everything he could. He wished he had more time to do and be the person he thought he could have been. I know this because of a straight-out-of-a-movie deathbed conversation he had with my father, who then repeated it to me. My grandfather died of stomach cancer, after a very prolonged and agonizing fight. He did everything he could and tried everything modern medicine could offer. Seeing as how both he and my grandmother were Christians and devoted members of their church, I have no doubt they often prayed for his health, and the members of their congregation did so as well.

And yet, he literally wasted away to a skeleton and died in great pain, so great, he could not recognize his wife of over 50 years at the end.

Now you, and the authors of "The Secret", tell me he could have been cured if he had simply concentrated harder. As if being cured, or even just in less pain, wasn't the object of his desire and didn't occupy his every waking thought and action. As if he were the one who somehow attracted cancer, agony, unfulfilled dreams, and death.

That just makes me outraged, sick, and full of contempt for those who would promote such filth.

So that is why I call the nonsense billed as the "Law of Attraction" rubbish and nothing more than confirmation bias. People only remember when it works to someone's advantage and either dismiss it when it doesn't, or worse, blame the victims for somehow attracting their misfortune.

Kevin Trudeau is a miserable excuse of a living organism. I would rather buy 1800 pounds of Crisco, fry the contents of my septic tank, and eat that with spaghetti sauce than buy any of his fraudulent spewage.

I look forward to Trudeau's next infomercial. He always gets hot babes with low-cut dresses and mounds of cleavage to interview him.

That's a sure sign that he's legit!

I was flipping through the channels yesterday and stumbled across one of his infomercials. He was talking to four women, two of whom were extremely well endowed and spilling out of very low-cut dresses. Nothing like a little T&A to get your point across. The other two were fairly modestly dressed. I suppose he didn't want to make it too obvious.

You had to listen to 14 CDs to learn this fact? You're a bit of a slow learner, aren't you?

In any case, Mr. Shill, or is it Ms. Shill, Kevin Trudeau is an important figure in free speech cases. The issue being should free speech be allowed when it will likely directly result in the premature deaths of tens to hundreds of thousands people. We live in a era where early testing and treatment can save the lives of the vast , vast majority of cancer victims. K. Trudeau telling people to not get tested by the medical establishment and to not seek the help of the medical establishment is not saving lives - it is destroying lives.

Lastly, let me say "billionaire?" LOL wut?

Here is the Forbes billionaire list as of March 10th:

http://www.forbes.com/2010/03/10/wor...2010_land.html

For our convenience, I sorted by name and went to the T's:

http://www.forbes.com/lists/2010/10/...Proper_37.html

Trudeau should be between "Kenny Troutt" and "Donald Trump"...

Nope, not there.

I don't think the words "epic fail" even begin to describe this.

As a guy who worked for too long in internet advertising and website development, let me give you a serious word of advice:
NEVER look into the testimonials of websites.
They are so fake it's not even funny.

Even if they were real, they would not qualify as scientific evidence.

I was talking about a general advice in life. Of course testimonials aren't scnientific evidence.

They never have to prove that the testimonials are real and not made up by themselves as well as even if they are real, there is no telling how many bad complaints the company got.

So in reality, they serve no value to the consumer.
People shouldn't even waste their time bothering reading testimonials from the company itself.

Dude, you are going to make millions, what do you care if you have to spend $500 or a thousand to do it. Don't be so greedy.

Wow, you did all of that in less than half an hour? Incredible.

So, since you have the set, why are you looking to buy it at a discounted rate?

Because he is a shill for Kevin Trudeau most likely. I have a website dedicated to exposing scams and canadaseopro's comments are typical:

You talk about how Scam-Leader's character is Jesus-like, how his intentions are so pure and how he is just a nice guy who wants to help you get the money/life you deserve.

Of course, sometimes we get people who were honestly duped.
