Isn't it rather arrogant of them to think that mere people can prevent a fore-ordained event? Isn't that telling god what to do?

Screw microchips. We have more important things to worry about. We should be passing laws to immediately seize and shut down any company named Cyberdyne. Japan is going to be the downfall of the human race: http://www.cyberdyne.jp/English/ First comes Hal, then Skynet, finally Judgment Day.

Well, the privacy concerns are a good reason to ban the microchips. If people do something smart for stupid reasons, I can live with it.
