The NYPD is investigating a possible link between the failed attempt to bomb Times Square and the South Park cartoon. But this is obviously a waste of time, since Comedy Central already appeased the terrorists.

It's funny, really. Whenever someone in the West criticizes the Islamic world, we're told that we need to respect their culture and not be ethno-centric, because tolerance is a very important virtue to our society. Then they not only criticize, but threaten and bomb us, and we're supposed to just roll over and take it? Imagine the outrage if Danes started to threaten, say, Koreans with death for displaying the swastika.

On the other hand, I question the wisdom of sites like this. I think a lot of people just don't understand how important Islam is to a lot of people, and it should receive a certain level of respect for this reason. Same reason I don't start sites devoted to hatred towards a given person's mother, really.

I'm pretty sure there's already a thread about this subject.
