The Chinese: A Closer Look at the Prosperity-Sucking Asiatics

Why permit an army of leprous, prosperity-sucking, progress-blasting Asiatics befoul our thoroughfares, degrade the city, repel immigration, drive out our people, break up our homes, take employment from our countrymen, corrupt the morals of our youth, establish opium joints, buy or steal the babe of poverty or slave, and taint with their brothels the lives of our young men?

The bamboo coons have sunk so low as to compete in the working sphere of our women. Our women, by god! More and more we see our legal citizen women being driven out of their blue collar low wage jobs - by these squintee eyed thieves of the night. Our legal citizen women are being forced into careers of depravity, like whoredom I say! Lo! All thanks to these rail-hoppers!

It is with this in mind, that I urge - nay - strongly urge we organize, strike back, and put an end to this madness. If we unify nationwide thirty-eight state strong, it is my belief that we can purge our great nation of these erroneous americans.

"For the most persuasive reasons we have refused citizenship to Chinese subjects; and yet, as to their offspring, who are just as obnoxious, and to whom the same reasons for exclusion apply with equal force, we are told that we must accept them as fellow-citizens, and that, too, because of the mere accident of birth. There certainly should be some honor and dignity in American citizenship that would be sacred from the foul and corrupting taint of a debasing lineage.

Are Chinese children born in this country to share with the descendants of the patriots of the American Revolution the exalted qualification of being eligible to the Presidency of the nation, conferred by the Constitution in recognition of the importance and dignity of citizenship by birth?"

- George Collins in a brief to the Supreme Court of the Unitied States in United States v. Wong Kim Ark

I, for one, find America's history in these matters to be totally shameful.

Based on the recent issues in Arizona, it appears that we may still have a long way to go, but I have hope.

Most nations have shameful histories when it comes to race-relations. Australia had issues, and still has them, America had issues and still has them, UK has... well you can see where I'm going here.

But the joyful thing is that it's mattering less and less as time goes by. Sure you get a bit of conservative kickback every now and again, but inevitably they're put at ease, tensions seem to lessen a bit and we get a little further ahead.

After all, we're all human. Just taken us a while to work out.

Oh, and for those of you who believe in karma, the story of George Collins, the attorney who wrote the brief on behalf of the U.S. in the Wong Kim Ark case should warm you heart.

In 1898 he was at the top. He was a prominent lawyer, arguing a case before the Supreme Court. (see the excerpt from his brief, above) He was wealthy and well known in his native town of San Francisco.

In 1905, he married Miss Clarice McCurdy in Chicago.

But he had a problem. He was already married.

Further sordid details of his first marriage and his affair with his wife’s sister soon came out, and he was convicted of bigamy and perjury. He attempted to flee the country but was extradited and sentenced to serve at San Quentin Prison where he was put to work in the jute mill where I imagine working conditions were similar to those experienced by Chinese laborers at that time.

Karma can be a real bitch sometimes.

The secret story of Mr Collins included numerous interludes in the laundry, with a number of something else sucking Asiatics. What prompted him to leave SF for Chicago was his wife nearly catching him in his philandering.

Or that story is something a screen play writer would make up ...

Mexicans (and Mexican-Americans) are only the latest in a long list of scapegoats that get persecuted every single time the economy stalls. This is historical fact.

A. The main reason USA stands today is because of cheap labor slavery.
B. Slavery had to go. It was replaced by cheap, immigrant labor.
C. Capitalism ebbs, people get OFD. Obsessive Finger-pointing Disorder.

Aye Dios Mio indeed.
