Nancy Pelosi and "The Word".

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/op...-95328969.html

"They ask me all the time, ‘What is your favorite this? What is your favorite that? What is your favorite that?’ And one time, ‘What is your favorite word?’ And I said, ‘My favorite word? That is really easy. My favorite word is the Word, is the Word. And that is everything. It says it all for us. And you know the biblical reference, you know the Gospel reference of the Word.” “And that Word,” Pelosi said, “is, we have to give voice to what that means in terms of public policy that would be in keeping with the values of the Word. The Word. Isn’t it a beautiful word when you think of it? It just covers everything. The Word."

Say the word and you'll be free
Say the word and be like me
Say the word I'm thinking of
Have you heard the word is love?
It's so fine, It's sunshine
It's the word, love
In the beginning I misunderstood
But now I've got it, the word is good

Spread the word and you'll be free
Spread the word and be like me
Spread the word I'm thinking of
Have you heard the word is love?
It's so fine, It's sunshine
It's the word, love
Everywhere I go I hear it said
In the good and the bad books that I have read

- The Beatles

Is that supposed to make sense?

It does make sense (although it's harder to understand when it's written down instead of spoken because the inflections not being there). It's just a silly non-answer to a strange question.

The Word
This garden universe vibrates complete.
Some we get a sound so sweet.
Vibrations reach on up to become light,
And then thru gamma, out of sight.
Between the eyes and ears there lay,
The sounds of colour and the light of a sigh.
And to hear the sun, what a thing to believe.
But it's all around if we could but perceive.
To know ultra-violet, infra-red and X-rays,
Beauty to find in so many ways.
Two notes of the chord, that's our fluoroscope.
But to reach the chord is our lifes hope.
And to name the chord is important to some.
So they give a word, and the word is OM.

I really didn't like her before this.

Now I despise her.

If I'm wrong and there is a hell, I'll be the guy basting her with cutting acidic sauces as she slowly rotates on a spit.

It would be nice if she learned the word "freedom" instead of "back-assed democracy as vector to massive, interventionist, cradle-to-grave control".

The government should nationalize it! Socialized, single-payer video game development and sales now! More, cheaper, better games, right? Right?

Maybe she meant "word" as in "word up!"? I could respect a politician who put her hands in the air like she just don't care, and glide by the people as they stop to look and stare. She could do her dance, do her dance, do her dance quick, then mama tell her baby tell her what's the word.

Sounds like standard Christian mumbo jumbo. Big deal.

Talk in everlasing words,
and dedicate them all to me.
And I will give you all my life,
I'm here if you should call me.

You think that I don't even mean
a single word I say.
It's only words,
and words are all I have, to take your heart away.

Nah. Don't like the smell.

She'd be getting off easy.

Was flipping through a "Wouldja Rather" book at the bookstore. One was this gem:

Would you rather have sex with an extremely eager and skilled Nancy Pelosi or Megan Fox who just layed there?
