The guy survived the holocaust, what more is there to be said? Let him dance.

No, it certainly isn't a sign of respect to those who didn't live - but not everything has to be; and it doesn't seem outright disrespectful to me, either.

What's the point of surviving the holocaust and living if you can't celebrate surviving if you want to. Other survivors may not want to, or able to, but that is up to them.

Doesn't this give the finger to the Nazis? It seems to me that way, and I'm inclined to approve of rubbing their noses in how utterly they were defeated.
