Mel Gibson and Sister Anne Emmerich

Despite the claims that the movie is true to the gospel accounts, it seems that Mel got inspiration from another source. From this article

Nice actor, but just gets weirder and stranger with every movie he makes...

I think he told Diane Sawyer it was when he stopped drinking and using drugs. He replaced one addiction with another, it seems.

Weighing the pros and cons, I think if I were to pick either, I would choose my personal reality warping and shattering before my eyes (Feeling cynical, Yahweh?) than the one that might wreck my physical well-being.
