Math help please...

What is 40 micrograms per litre converted to grams/ml?
And
what is 225 micrograms per litre converted to grams/ml?

Much appreciated... I feel math challenged today...

40 µg / l =
0,00004 g / 1000 ml =
0,00000004 g / ml

225 µg / l =
0,000225 g / 1000 ml =
0,000000225 g / ml

40 micrograms/liter in grams/ml

No you're diving top and bottom by 1,000

When you divide 1 by 1000 y0ou get 0.001 that's the way the decimal goes.

It might be more reader friendly to use another form of notation:

40 µg / l = 40 x10-6 g/l = 40x10 -9 g/ml
And
225 µg / l = 225 x 10-6g/l = 225 x 10-9g/ml

Not only is it easier to read, you also have the correct number of significant digits.
