NASA announcement salty sea on mars!

A salty sea once washed over the plains of Mars at the Opportunity rover's landing site, creating a life-friendly environment more earthlike than any known on another world, NASA scientists announced today.

The initial Channel 4 headline suggested the rover had found a salty sea.

Me on the edge of my seat for half an hour before they finally gave the full report. Something that had once been a salty sea. Thus proving that there had once been water on the surface of Mars.

News Flash: We already knew that!
