Anyone care to explain the tagline "Too Jung to be Freudian?" My knowledge of psychology is limited, and I would think that tagline would have something to do with the adherents of those schools, not the actual schools themselves.

I believe there was a break in thought between Jung and Freud, but I can't remember what it was. Maybe Jung didn't buy into the sexual impetus that Freud favored.

That's my guess. Freud was the guy who tried to explain everything by repressed sexuality. Sex is not for kids. Jung = Young.

More importantly, Freud and anyone who listened to him often dismissed cases of sex abuse as some sort of wierd fantasy, and owing to the popularity of freudian theory and prostitution during the Victorian Era as well as later, much sex abuse went unchecked.
