Question about Mark Twain.
I am hoping that someone can help me with a reference. Didn't Twain tell a story about attending a psychic's performance in a large theater? Something along the lines of the psychic claiming she could answer any question and when Twain got a turn, he asked what is the capital of South Dakota. The story ends with him being ushered out by a couple of assistants.
Have I confused the facts or just lost the source? |
