Yes, all those people with leukemia really need to get on the ball and control their bodies better.

Da Jooz (tm) are hot on poor Charles Traynor's tail. They're going to silence him if he reveals to our evil network of Jooz which journal he is going to publish in.

Why didn't you quote the whole thing? It just gets better and better:

Quote:
Your health IS NOT MY PROBLEM. Can't afford to pay for care? Then STAY HEALTHY! It's not that hard! There are two primary sources of health care: Your OWN ACTIONS and your RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. I mean it. God heals illness when he chooses to. When he chooses not to, then nobody can help you anyway! If you want to supplement your OWN actions by getting the advice of a doctor or using medication, then PAY FOR IT. If you can't, that's sad for you, but you have no right to FORCE ME to pay for you!
Feel that Christian love!

A little broad, but... (found at Respectful Insolence

The proposed 2012 Platform of the Republican Party of Texas.

The post and comments have many worthy quotes but I found the most chilling to be;
Quote:
We oppose the teaching of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) (values clarification), critical thinking skills and similar programs that are simply a relabeling of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) (mastery learning) which focus on behavior modification and have the purpose of challenging the student’s fixed beliefs and undermining parental authority.
It's not as tinfoil crazy as some but the scope and potential for it to be implemented makes it worse

Wow... It has been clear for a number of years that the GOP is anti-education, but I've never seen it stated so bluntly. It's like saying that "we don't want people to think for themselves".

ETA: There's also heavy flirting with anti-vaxxers:

Quote:
Immunizations ― All adult citizens should have the legal right to conscientiously choose which vaccines are
administered to themselves or their minor children without penalty for refusing a vaccine. We oppose any effort
by any authority to mandate such vaccines or any medical database that would contain personal records of
citizens without their consent
And creationists and global warming deniers:

Quote:
Controversial Theories – We support objective teaching and equal treatment of all sides of scientific theories.
We believe theories such as life origins and environmental change should be taught as challengeable scientific
theories subject to change as new data is produced. Teachers and students should be able to discuss the
strengths and weaknesses of these theories openly and without fear of retribution or discrimination of any kind.
This document is basically an invitation to a conspiracy nut free-for-all.

I can't nominate this unfortunately but it made me laugh.

I had a face-to-face discussion with a truther, he went on a little rant about JREF.

This is what he had to say about the monthly stundie threads:

Quote:
Just a bunch of debunker losers, got nuttin' better to do than try to make out that we're stupid!
Lol what do you mean TRY?

And Clayton Moore slides another one in under the wire:

Would the van, in hostile territory, be driven away from the protection of the soldiers?

The dead people must be removed from the van and disposed of by the soldiers. The soldiers must clean up the van. Then what? Go search out more victims for van gassing? And if the weather forbids the gassing cycle what are the soldiers assigned to do that they could stop doing when the weather became clement?

Thanks for this. It's scary and needs to be made public.

This is a weird one. When asked to explain why it would be a problem if someone whose parents were born outside the USA could become President, chuck4842 replied:

So because Jeremiah Wright Jr, a natural-born citizen of the USA, dislikes many things about his country, children of immigrants should not be allowed to become President.

Say what?

I think it was only natural for people to be suspicious of him. The online certificate he produced as evidence was found suspicious by many who looked at it. His history of working for the CIA makes it believable that he'd have the means to forge documents.

So, start with a "wealthy communist" (a bit of an oxymoron, that), then segue into Obama worked for the CIA, with a stopover in vaguely racist concern about his name. Beautiful work, that.

Nah, it's because he's black. From his handful of postings, I suspect that chuck4842 is your garden-variety racist.
