Yes, this is an odd place to make this announcement. Peace Crusader, could you explain why we'll only need sufficient food and water for three days (and nights)? A nuclear war is going to render the environment inhospitable to life for much longer than three days, and should two-thirds of the world's population die, I very much doubt that there will be shops or the infrastructure required to supply the shops for a great deal longer than three days.

If the holy spirit was any kind of deity, wouldn't it know that nuclear war means that survivors will need to be self-sufficient for months rather than three days?

I think you're right.

Funny, with the Buffalo Bill Hawkins guy (this kid even set up his own website using the date of the prophecied nuclear war), he hung in there for a long time insisting that nuclear war had in fact started, but we just hadn't noticed it yet. Then, he did some backpedalling (the nuclear baby was conceived, then would be born 9 months later; then after that failed to happen, presumably the nuclear baby was born, but might take years to grow up and learn how to start being a nuclear war. . . ), then he just disappeared. Presumably, he'd seen the error of his ways (after the cult leader was busted for sexually molesting a child and bigamy---though he got off of the bigamy charges because of a weird law that put his provable crimes beyond a statute of limitations), and was by then simply ashamed of having believed at all.

It's relatively seldom you have believers who believe strongly enough really to put themselves out there. I find it interesting what happens afterwards in cases like this. What ever happened to the doomsday RV caravan that predicted The End on May 21, 2011?

Who is older, the person who says he copyrighted it or the King James Version (KJV)? Why is it that there is no mark of any copyright in the KJV?

If the holy spirit was any kind of deity, wouldn't it know that nuclear war means that survivors will need to be self-sufficient for months rather than three days?

Funny, with the Buffalo Bill Hawkins guy (this kid even set up his own website using the date of the prophecied nuclear war), he hung in there for a long time insisting that nuclear war had in fact started, but we just hadn't noticed it yet. Then, he did some backpedalling (the nuclear baby was conceived, then would be born 9 months later; then after that failed to happen, presumably the nuclear baby was born, but might take years to grow up and learn how to start being a nuclear war. . . ), then he just disappeared. Presumably, he'd seen the error of his ways (after the cult leader was busted for sexually molesting a child and bigamy---though he got off of the bigamy charges because of a weird law that put his provable crimes beyond a statute of limitations), and was by then simply ashamed of having believed at all. It's relatively seldom you have believers who believe strongly enough really to put themselves out there. I find it interesting what happens afterwards in cases like this. What ever happened to the doomsday RV caravan that predicted The End on May 21, 2011?
