One data point is not a trend, it's an exception. The real trend is the large group of Olympic hosts who do not start world wars.

Why yes. Yes I did. Did you know that it's not the first and has been going on for quite a while? Did you know that there is also a dispute between the UK and Argentina? And between the UK and Spain? And between Japan and China? And between India and Pakistan? And between Iran and just about everyone? And between Israel and just about everyone? And between Thailand and Cambodia? And between Sudan and Sudan and Kenya and Rwanda and Congo and Somalia and Ethiopia and Eritrea? And between an awful lot of other countries? It's not exactly difficult to find examples of disputes between various countries. It is, however, rather more difficult to find examples of such that result in invasion followed by a world war. Given that the dispute between China and the Philippines revolves mainly around fishing rights, which as far as is not a topic which has ever led to war, it doesn't seem a particularly likely choice for the next one.

Yes, wollery, China will occupy the Philippines. This is a prophecy. Not a prediction but a prophecy from the true God.
Okay, so this'll be like shooting fish in a barrel. Will you stay around so that we can all make fun of you discuss your lack of results in this prediction?

I assume you realize that the London games open in just 45 days? Our usual false prophets generally give themselves six months or more. This one should be a snap. All you need to do is get China working on the Philippine invasion (about, I'd say, right NOW) because in order for a cancellation or boycott to get going, it'd need about four weeks for the buildup and for reaching some form of consensus among the participants and the hosts.

Not. Going. To. Happen.

Nevertheless, in grand tradition, let's start the clock, Don Pardo.

45 Days.....

..... and counting down. (Wollery, Wolfman, Roborama... you guys might want to keep a bag packed near the door.)

If it doesn't, will you admit to being wrong?

No. The goalposts will be moved to the 2016 Olympics.

I realize that English is not your first language but this is a confused mess.

2008 has long passed and war was not declared.

So, if WW3 hasn't started by 2012/8/24 you will admit you were wrong, your prophet was a false prophet etc? Or are you going to weasel out by claiming that WW2 started when the USA entered?

If you are looking for some correlation or a trend, why do you ignore the simple fact that it was 8 years from 1936 to 1944, but only 4 years between 2008 and 2012? Why do you ignore all those countries that didn't start a war after hosting the olympics?

What's the point of this dates anyway?

Can't you rely solely on your prophecy?

Did you know that the Holy Spirit said that the trouble in the Philippines will be the start of trouble of the whole world? He said this in mid-1980. I thought it was the People’s Power Revolution that installed Corazon Aquino and deposed Ferdinand Marcos as President. But World War III did not happen. (http://aristean.org/pahayag018.htm - in Filipino)

This time, there is the dispute on the South China Sea over Spratly Islands and Scarborough Shoals. I guess the prophecy would happen this time. Did you know that He compared the trouble in the Philippines to a gas lamp. The wick of the lamp is the Philippines. Once the wick is lit, then the lamp will be alight.

He also said that it will be about the middle of the year, maybe sometime in the 1990s. I guess it would be between 06-21 and 07-21 inclusive. Why these dates?

Then, on 2012-05-01, He said Wednesday. If it is this year between 06-21 and 07-21 and on a Wednesday, then, I would limit my choice to only four: 06-27, 07-04, 07-11, and 07-18. I chose 07-04. Why? Anyone?

There is precedent for this, actually. In the prophecies, everything has been predicted at one point or another (most have never come true, but hey, that's the prophesy business for ya).

And let us not forget WWI. Sweden hosted the 1912 Olympics and then invaded Montenegro to start The Great War in 1914. I hope I'm wrong, but history is repeating itself, repeating itself, repeating itself.

Thank you, Ocelot. You have an eagle’s eye. It should be 2012-08-08 and not 2008-08-08. I qualified that it would be “between the third and fourth years (at the later part).”

Not only can you read this prophecy. You can also hear Him. It is in the Filipino language though. I may not have uploaded this yet. (Please select the files that you wish to listen to in http://aristean.org/audioidx.htm and http://aristean.org/mp3-files.htm .)

The God that I am referring to is the true God for not all gods that people worship is the true God. There is only one true God and the others are false gods. Be able to discern the true God from the false gods.
there are no true gods. all of them are invented fantasy creatures.

That is a false Holy Spirit. I am in contact with the real Holy Spirit and he assures me that nothing will happen. Beware of false prophets!!!!! Anyway, it was the 1938 Tour De France that started the Second World War.

No, of course we didn't know that. Why would you imagine we would know that?

If you enjoy rhetorical questions, why do you still believe your imaginary messages from the Holy Spirit are real, when they have a solid 30 year track record of not coming true?

Can you check with the real Holy Spirit whether, as I suspect, the Falklands War was started by the 1979 Hong Kong rugby sevens?

Hey, would a true seer make things up? Not a chance. He's got audio files of his interviews with the Holy Spirit.

You think I'm making this up?

You would think the Holy Spirit would be multilingual. PeaceCrusader, can you ask him to speak in English? Much easier to spread his message that way.

No, but sometimes it mumbles.

On another subject, what the hell is going on in the Philippines? Is the whole place full of apocalyptic religious types?

Did Imelda Marcos really have that big an impact?

Well while we are making a list can you ask him about that pass in the 1986 France Vs Australia world cup semi-final. That has to have something to do with Iraq invading Kuwait

Well, when I was there, I didn't run into any of that type. Of course, I spent all my time in the bars in Olongopo, so it's not a very big sample size.

What's with the apparently random numbering at the beginning of PeaceCrusader's messages?
The combination to his gym locker.

Incidentally, the "Holy Spirit" speaks in the Filipino language (Tagalog, I assume) to Filipinos in the Phillipines about a war that starts in the Phillipines. Let me guess: there's a messiah involved, and he's from -- wait for it -- the Phillipines?

In summary, PeaceCrusader, see a doctor, will you? You are really stretching the bounds of "freedom of speech".
What a load of bollocks you talk. Put some of that energy into being a good person just for the sake of it, not because your sky fairy tells you to be good.

Sorry for abruptness. I just find people like you tend to cause more harm in the world than good.
I shall now return to lurking this forum.
Thank you

No, but sometimes it mumbles.

On another subject, what the hell is going on in the Philippines? Is the whole place full of apocalyptic religious types?

Did Imelda Marcos really have that big an impact?

Isn't that where religious loons actually nail themselves to crosses to "celebrate" Good Friday?

Then, on 2012-05-01, He said Wednesday. If it is this year between 06-21 and 07-21 and on a Wednesday, then, I would limit my choice to only four: 06-27, 07-04, 07-11, and 07-18. I chose 07-04. Why? Anyone?

No they usually get other people to do it, otherwise that last nail would be a real bitch

I've been conversing with some holy spirit (Armagnac) and I've been reassured that I'll be watching the Olympics as planned, and not seeing WWIII even if it does happen to be Wednesday.

I thought Thursdays were the really difficult days to get the hang of.

No worries. All the people can move to Tyre. It's immune to Holy Spirit-invoked attacks.
