Because it is God’s signs that we are in the “last days”.

Ama said that “What is happening to your neighbor will happen in your own house.” As I explained this before, the calamities that are happening in other provinces or countries will happen to your own place as well.

Any actual (as opposed to perceived) increase in extreme weather events is fully explained by global warming, which is fully explained by human activities such as burning fossil fuel. There is no more need to invoke divine intervention to explain such events than there is to invoke the existence of volcano gods to explain volcanic eruptions.

No, this is utterly wrong. God isn't sending "more and more of this violent weather". If it is true that overall there are more violent weather events (which you have not demonstrated with actual data), then it is due to global warming. A hundred years ago maybe even fifty years ago, a hurricane or other weather event would have only been reported locally. Now with rolling 24/7 news channels, every weather event is world wide news so it feels like there are more hurricanes. But it's just that they are reported more. We have very little idea what the weather was like prior to records being kept in the way they are today, the planet was here for billions of years before humans evolved and will likely be here for billions of years after humans have gone.

Most scientists agree that this global warming is due to the effects of our industrialised world. We've built on flood plains, we've deforested large swathes of land, and we've released tonnes of CO2 etc into the atmosphere. We are reaping what we've sown but none of it is down to a God, it's all natural processes.

The Philippines has signed a framework peace plan with the country's largest Muslim rebel group, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

The deal follows lengthy negotiations aimed at ending a 40-year conflict that has cost an estimated 120,000 lives.

The agreement was reached in early October after talks in Malaysia and provides for a new autonomous region in part of the south where Muslims are a majority in a mainly Catholic nation.

Yes, Craig B, fagin, Agatha, and others, my consolation in the failed 2012 Olympic Games (OG) in London prophecy is that there is still the tensions at the Spratly Islands which the Philippines is claiming. We've built on flood plains, we've deforested large swathes of land, and we've released tonnes of CO2 etc into the atmosphere. We are reaping what we've sown but none of it is down to a God, it's all natural processes.

We bear the consequence of our action.” The prophecy failed because the prophet is a fraud. God is not doing anything to anyone, because he/she/it doesn't exist. Why not ignore these ramblings of a so-called prophet, get out and enjoy yourself instead?
