Tom Cruise is a scientologist, so you ought to be as well!

Tom Cruise was born on the third of July, 1962. He grew up in rather hard circumstances, but the fact that he is so sucessful and popular, to say nothing of good looking shows that you should uncritically embrace whatever idea of the universe he does.

It would not, however be prudent to mention here that John Travolta, because lots of his films didn't do well and/or sucked. Cruise's on the other hand, have done well (by and large) regardless of the fact that they sucked. Clearly, the magic... er... technology of scientology has skyrocketed the steadfast Tom Cruise to fame and fortune, whereas the more reserved and critical Travolta has been rewarded less.

Also, in trying to convince you of the genius if scientology by celebrity endorsement, it would be uncouth in the extreme to mention this or Hubbard forbid this.

I want no part of a religion that would cause you to dump Nicole Kidman.

I feel that this should be mentioned again:
The Scientology Volunteer Minister

I like this comment:

"In a computerized society where individuality is diminished, there are those who find little or no satisfaction in conformity to stereotyped living and are searching for their own answers to life's questions and how best to live, work and find happiness." (emphasis in original)

It just strikes me that joining a soul-sucking cult might not be the best way to find one's own answers to anything. Just a thought.

Don't you mean "I want no part of a religion that would cause me to dump Nicole Kidman"? I don't have a problem with a religion causing you to dump Nicole.

No way, dude! She is my SnuggleBunny . . . as soon as she gets over this Catholic stickt . . . and lifts that restraining order.

Given the way the cult goes after those who speak against it, he is lucky all he got was the shirt!

my brother and I just got through throwing away over $1000.00 worth of WISE books (this is the Scientology Business Owners chapter, to "network" and to use his principles to grow your business). They were basically collections of memorandums and procedures to run a Scientology org and after taking hte course and buying the books you too could use them to make your biz skyrocket.

thank LRH I never got into Scientology like my brother (I took some basic course in 1993) and thank LRH my brother now realizes what a whack job the whole thing is.

Almost assuredly the later, unless of course you put any stock in his tale that scientology helped him educationally.

IIRC, he was into acting already before he got really involved, and was reluctant initially to admit he was involved with them.

Although, i don't know that Scientology ever skyrocketed, or skyrocketed anyone.

Cats Venm, I got tired after reading about ten pages. That is truly funny.

I love the large and conspicuous poison simbol on the bottle.

"hmm... technology is telling me that the people are dying when they eat the food... AHA! Poison!"

Does all the talk of technology in scientology remind anyone of battletech's WOB movement?
