It's the Democratic Party, Dumbo!

I saw GWB on TV last night where he referred to the "Democrat Party". What's with this? Are we to call his the Republic Party.

I think this started quite a few years ago, maybe as far back as Barry Goldwater(?). The thought being that it is not a "democratic" party, but instead a socialist party. So they started calling them the "democrat" party to make that point clear.

I think it's more that GWB just isn't very smart.

Well, the 'Republicans' aren't for a republic, either: They're for a Christian theocracy.

The use of "Democrat" party is strictly a sign of a Republican partisan. I heard it used this morning by one of the Fox & Friends bozos.
