Car Salesman sees Virgin Mary on balloon

Quote:
A car salesman in South Texas is drawing attention Tuesday after claiming he's seen the Virgin Mary -- on a balloon.

Javier Fuentes says everyone at the dealership in Weslaco was blowing up balloons today, to promote the sale of vehicles, when he noticed an image on the balloon.

Fuentes called his co-workers and even some of his family members to see the image, which at first was thought to be a defect in the balloon.

He thinks maybe it's a message -- to encourage him to be a better person, to see life in a different way.

Whatever the outcome, Fuentes says the incident left him shaking and nervous -- and he considers the balloon a blessing from God.

With everything going on in the world I saw this on the 10 O'clock news. I live in Orange County, CA and some how a car salesman trying to get media attention in Texas gets airtime on the news here.

I wonder how it went from first thoughts of a defect to the later definite conclusion. I bet the thought of media attention never entered that process.

That's what happens when you inhale too much of the helium. So the lesson from this? Huff helium to get closer to God. God loves a huffer.

The problem with balloons is that they are always following the Virgin (yeah right) Mary around.

Just take a look at this picture if you don't believe me - http://virginballoon.notlong.com

"Gee, look at this balloon...It must be defective. No, that's crazy! It has to be an image of the Virgin Mary sent by God."

The guy should just slash his wrists with Occam's Razor.

I didn't see it on the news, but I may have missed it. There was one helicopter, but that may have been LAPD. I couldn't really see it and I can't be sure unless they shine their spotlight into my kitchen.

I did catch a bit on more kids dying from street racing and a feel-good fluff piece though.

Don't forget the cute animal piece at the end - San Diego zoo is good for that sort of thing.

I wonder what type of car dealership it was, I also figured God was a Ford man. This is because I owned a Ford and within 1 month I got 4 flat tires. At first I thought it was just bad luck. Upon further reflection it's obvious that my car was experiencing the stigmata.
