Watching the results as they come in.

First batch I saw started with Bush at 30something, Kerry at 3.

Currently, it is Bush 66, Kerry 77.
(Fox has Bush 660, Kerry 74)

edited to add: I'm primarily watching www.cnn.com which has a nice map and break downs.

I've got it at zero-zero right now since 100 percent of votes in no state have been counted.

The exit polling shows a kerry sweep.

Has any state reached the point where there is no mathmatical way more than one person can win?

Ask Neil Kinnock why that doesn't mean much.

I think any blue/red state from last time that is at 80 percent and in the 60/40 range is pretty safe to say is a lock.

Fox has played ultracautious tonight. Haven't called Florida, they held off on several states like Missippi and Alabama also. They held off on California also which explains that anomaly in those numbers.

The polling seems somehow flawed, I predict Bush will win. The pre-election polling stats are consistently overestimating Democrat margins, this will be bad for narrow states like Ohio & Florida for Kerry.

Arizona pre-election polling was a 1% tie and it was 11% toward Bush.

First - fire all the people doing their polling.

Going to bed and hope I will wake up wrong.

Yeah, to the tune of 20 elecs going to Bush. Great. Alaska has just gone to Bush too, giving him 269 by a projection from MSNBC.

It's
MSNBC 269 red 207 blue
FOX 269 red 211 blue
CNN 249 red 196 blue (They're being really conservative)
ABC 249 red 207 blue
CBS 249 red 207 blue

As of 1:09 am EST in Dayton Ohio.

Seriously, I start flipping channels and watch NBC and CBS for about ten minutes and they wank on me. They can't be bothered to put up a little box stating the results.

NBC did just call Ohio for Bush.

I'm gonna laugh hard if it ends at 269 - 269

Oh btw,
FLORIDA YOU SUCK

Absentee ballots counted by Thursday??? Maybe we should all offer to pitch in and count, or it could be a good project for some high school students who want a career in politics.

Come on dudes, today is the day!
