Delurking briefly on this forum to say that a lot of sites like the one Paul links to above make me feel like Butthead.

Well, not quantum, but Subquantum, I'll say!

Hmm, at the low energies that the DNA strands are on, any radiation would cause an error that possibly would halt the replication or translation.
