Did any psychics predict the tsunami?

Or have any come out of the woodwork claiming to have done so?

A bit of googling hasn't found any psychics predicting this particular tsunami yet, but I'm sure some will before too long...

Mostly they seem to prefer to predict tsunamis in the eastern US.

I predict that most psychics making their predictions for 2005 will have the word "tsunami" somewhere in their lists.

John Patrick Ennis (born July 14, 1960), also known as Sollog, is an American numerologist, mystic, psychic, and self-published author, artist, musician, poet, and filmmaker.

Ennis refers to himself by what he calls the "religious name" of Sollog Immanuel Adonai-Adoni (the first name is sometimes fully capitalized: SOLLOG). "Sollog" is widely thought to stand for "son of light, light of God", although the origin of this interpretation is not clear. Sollog himself states that the name is derived from "Sol" and "Logos", literally "the word of the sun" [1] . He prefers not to be called by his birth name, John Ennis, considering it an insult, and claims instead that "SOLLOG", "GOD" and "GOD ALMIGHTY" are his only legal names [2] .

Sollog is good for a laugh occasionally! He must be a psychic, or at least he's predictable. At least with Mozilla I don't have to beat down all the porn pop ups associated with that wanker anymore.

Obviously you must have misunderstood 1 inch rist's prediction. When he said "captured", he meant killed. When he said "Bin Laden", he meant "Asians". And when he said "October" he meant "December".

I suppose the 'prediction' made by this palmist (if the story is true) might be said to all his customers and have a chance of coming true in a beach resort, even if just the "darn, I should have listened. That big wave got my hair wet" scenario were the case, rather than a tsunami.

Quote:
Some British survivors began to arrive home yesterday. Nurse Debbie Bates, 39, from Wokingham, Surrey, told how a fortune-teller's prediction came true.

She was having breakfast at her hotel in the Sri Lankan resort of Ahungala when the first giant wave struck.

She said: 'I saw a palmist the day before. He said, 'Stay out of the sea, big wave coming.' At the time, I thought it was a joke - now I just think it is freaky.'

Actually, the palmist was wrong. Two scuba divers survived quite handily, without even realizing what was happening.

A few minutes later: Hmm... I just went and read that article. One thing that struck me immediately was how many victims managed to communicate with the Daily Record, even though completely cut off from everyone else. Like the guy who was surrounded by crocodiles, and the Daily Record was apparently the only people he could contact. And the family who "remain trapped in an isolated village." An isolated village with a cell phone tower?

Are cell phone towers that pervasive in that part of the world? Are cell phone towers that sturdy? Do that many people carry cell phones while sunbathing? Do that many people have the Daily Record's phone number in their cell phone memories? Why is the Daily Record so much easier to contact than virtually anyone else? Why are these people contacting the Daily Record and not their families back home?

ARRGGGHHH!!!!!

This is on Sylvia "I don't need the million" Browne's home page:

Quote:

In October 2004 on the Montel Williams Show, Sylvia advised viewers to avoid travel to India due to safety concerns. On December 26th Sylvia's prediction was validated when a tsunami devastated India. Sylvia further warns that travel to the region will not be safe for another 6 months due to health issues (water purity, disease) created in the aftermath of the tsunami.

Please join us in praying for the families of those affected by this tragedy.
I'm Jewish. And an atheist. Both ways, there's no hell.

But man, I wish I was wrong; just so fraudulent charlatans like her, who use tragedies like this to bolster their own careers in selling snake oil, roast in its deepest pits.

Randi, if you're reading this, keep going after her. Do your damndest to let people know how she exploits people's suffering.

Geta load of this one:
Quote:
Around the Fall of 2004-2007 there will be changes in the earth polarizations as well as earth changes in oceans, seas, and land world wide. Storms such as hurricanes, tornadoes, draught, heat, earth quakes, floods, etc. & will have a tremendous affect on the earth because of pollution, as well as using up natural resources, and loss of the rain forests that all equalizes the earth. Many lives will be lost. Florida will have 4 hurricanes in the fall of 04 that will hit one after another. Chance of a least 2 more. There will be earthquakes in Asia that will rate one of the most powerful in this century, There will be tsunamis in Asia and India area affecting millions of individuals with I high count in loss of life

But just in case it doesnt happen...

I thought that prediction spot on really re: Tsunami disaster, until I realized she had given three years for this to happen in.Many lives lost? Would that be 100 lives? 50..60? Still its amazing how these visions never give a time or date.Pesky spirits, just dont want to save 127,000 lives, just have a game of Guess.

This sounds vaguely familiar. Does the website have anything to do with Lucianarchy?
