Ever since Franko left, the intellectual quality of this forum has improved. Or am I just getting dumber. Either way, I wonder what happend to him...

I like Franko, he's good for laffs. I'm mounting a search-party to go into Baltimore and bring our man back...

Somehow I don't think he's in Baltimore. He's listed different locations everywhere he signs up. However, most of them are Washington DC.

D4rn it, c4ts! why'd you make it so we could only vote for one option?

My secret theory is that he and, a few days later, his sockpuppet got blocked or suspended for some reason for some unknown period of time. I mean, how else could someone as addicted to this board as Franko go cold turkey like that?

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but immediately following F's departure, the number of posts per day (heck, per hour) dropped to almost nothing. Now it's starting to slowly rise again.

My theory is that F managed to chase off those who were interested in discussing R&P on this board so that the only one's who did post here, for the most part, are the ones argued against F. Since he put so much material out there, even if it was reposts of earlier material, there was plenty to respond to. After F left, there was nothing to respond to, so posts went way down. Then, because F wasn't an obstical to free discussion, the posters actually interested in discussion started coming back (or arriving for the first time).

Whatever the reason, I think the board is a much better place now.

Franko is alive and well, and in complete control of his gravitons. He will be appearing before all of you later to make an historic speech.

Rumor has it he's entered the Red Sox farm system. Boston's looking for the first switch pitcher. His understanding of spin and how coins land when tossed makes him a natural.

Grady Little's said to be offering a big bonus.

Or, wait - maybe it was a left-handed catcher for the Orioles.

Something like that.

Laugh while you can Dead Boy.... When you see that phenom take the mound against New York and he's throwing with either hand, you'll think back on this moment and reflect....

I hear he's perfecting a mean forkball, too.

The Holy Order of Lenin has spoken to me through its HOLY scriptures that the evil of Logical Deism has been spanked out of the universe, with the hand the dead. The monkies have said that since they are higher on the trees than us, they are more important, and Humanism is wrong! WrONG! The Logical Godess is a Humanist and therefore is wrong, because the monkies told me so.

The HOLY monkies, who are higher on the trees, have told me that I am not Franko! I am not the voice of the anti-MONKIES! TLOP will fall from the evil of tofu, the HOLY monkies must prevail, for they are rightous and will succed. The power of the Nuclear will aid as we spank the evils of tofu and the anti-MONKIES, such as the Logical Godess and TLOP!

You cannot ignore the wOrds of the HOLY monkies, those who are higher on the trees. You cannot deny the great armies of Undersea Water Tofu, who have aligned themself with the evil kof the tofu-eater Herbert Spencer! Spank them all! Spank their evils from this world! You who ignore the truth will be destroyed by those who have rejected the truth of the HOLY monkies as expressed by those who follow the truth of the Holy Order of Lenin.

Franko's Speech, as promised

In the name of the Logical Goddess the most compassionate.
They shall be vanquished and flee. The Logical Goddess hath spoken.

Oh gravitons, bearers of arms and the honor of resistance. The Logical Goddess' peace be upon you as you confront the A-Theists, the enemies of the Logical Goddess and humanity, the transient blasphemers with chests brimming with faith and the love of the Logical Goddess.

The Logical Goddess has granted victory of those who invoked her faith, promise and covenant against the A-Theists and the aggressors fled before the right, cursed along with their devils while the faces of the gravitons illuminated with faith and honour of the moment.

Strike at them, fight them. They are A-Theists, evil, accursed by the Logical Goddess, the exalted. You shall be victorious and they shall be vanquished.

On to jihad and long live the gravitons of our nation.

The evils of the Logical Goddess has been proven. It says in the Great Teachings that the Logical Goddess is a tofu-eater and an anti-MONKIES! The words of the HOLY monkies has never been false. We must all remember that the evil anti-MONKIES support the Triangle Shirtwaist Company Fire which killed 35% of the UNITED STATES!

I'm not sure what to make of this. Too short winded to be Franko, and too stupid to be a troll. Has a nasty habit of miquoting, and seems to be in some sort of control of his caps lock. Can't spell for love nor beer, and seems to have a flair for bizzare statistics.

So it isn't anyone we've seen before, unless it's pillory's evil side.

A Franko sighting?

Today some web-surfing led me to a site called Steel Girls. Uh,
hard to describe. Heavy-metal chicks? Slick, hip kind of place
where the women offer leather clothes, metal jewelry, etc. They
also have a forum. For the life of me I could not figure out what they were talking about.
Anyway, I noticed a post by an uregistered user. The guy said
something close to, 'nice site. Too bad yours is a nation of war-
mongering bastards. Or else I would have bought something'.
It was dated a couple of days ago. The posters name was
Franko.

I noticed a site called Deism.org. I checked it out, only to find several posts of "You are made of atoms. Atoms obey TLOP..." by someone using the name "Serpent." Somehow, I don't think Franko would use the same name on different boards, unlike me.

I checked the site. The 2 posts by "Franko" I found don't even remotely resemble what our Franko would say. Just a big coincidence.

This is old news. Franko was Serpent.

There is a whole thread about his mission there.

Pardon the typo. It's just a theory. How would you explain the dip on conversation on the board followed by the gradual rise?

And yes, it takes more than one poster to hijack a thread or even a whole board. However, I would counter by asking how many threads have been hijacked to the topics of free will/determinism or how evil atheists are since F has left?

If few or none (and that certainly seems to be the case to me), it would seem that F is at the very least a catalyst, wouldn't you agree?

I am not Franko, although I have came around to see some of the points he is making. (not that I agree with all of them though)

The thoughts of no one calling me 'Whoopeedonme?' brings a tear to my eye though.

I've been thinking, and I have come to the result that Franko was what he always said he was: A figment of our imagination. Looking back, I see how he mirrored my thoughts, literally, being exactly the opposite, always fulfilling my expectations. Back when I respected him still, he at times made sense, at times came through with a disarming humor. Later, when I became angry with him, he turned completely obnoxious, and finally, when we all got simply fed up with him, he vanished.

I dont belive in the supernatural, so, of course, somebody somewhere did the typing, but the character Franko was simply a figment of our collective imagination.

We get the trolls we imagine.
