What constitutes "secrets"?

Hello all, I am attempting to learn some mentalism (after TAM3, the psychology involved fascinates me). Is it acceptable to ask questions about it here, or does that violate the "no secrets" rule?

I can give you a very useful answer of â€œI donâ€™t knowâ€.

But some general guidance, it is pretty much OK to discuss in very general terms tricks and seek advice about where to go and look for more details. What isnâ€™t OK is to actually describe how a particular magician did a particular trick.

The trick here â€“ is be non-specific.
