An awful thought, but one that sort of makes a point:
If the fundies can claim that AIDS is God's punishment for homosexuality, can we counter-claim that this is his punishment for homophobia? Is the military next? |

Only one is dead. The other is in critical condition.
Yeah, I thought God hated the Boy Scouts too, when I read it. Are we bad? |

Nah, it's only because priests weren't allowed in the tents this year...

Okay, I look at it as God hating the boy scouts AND I see justice in the termination of a serial spammer. I guess I am doubly bad.

But when I don't and I take the time to actually consider it, it makes me very unhappy. Even my pansy-ass would be happy to punch the spammer in the face and backhand the homophobia (could it be distilled into an actual entity) that the Boy Scouts are now known for, but actual death? Not that cool. |

Although this is (probably among others) a relatively isolated incident, it's apparently tarnishing the notion of Boy Scouts being prepared and whatnot. The accident with the power pole was due in part to some contractors that were hired to put the tent up - the scouts were helping (please correct me if I have that wrong). Not being prepared for the heat is as goofy as not packing food for a camping trip.

Memo to Mr Dobbs
the last guy who used that avatar ended up in jail for a 'crime' that didn't deserve it. You have been warned. |

Of course god hates scouting, why else would they be cursed to wear those dorky uniforms and vacation in tents with no air conditioning.
